FIRE FROM THE GODS Release ‘SOUL REVOLUTION: ACOUSTIC VIBES’ EP

Share Video for “BE FREE (ACOUSTIC)”

Austin, TX-based rock group FIRE FROM THE GODS have today (May 19) released a new EP, SOUL REVOLUTION: ACOUSTIC VIBES, via Better Noise Music consisting of four newly recorded acoustic singles taken from their critically acclaimed recent 2022 album SOUL REVOLUTION. Stream/download the EP now at https://fftg.ffm.to/soulrevolutionacv.

FIRE FROM THE GODS have also shared a heartfelt music video for the acoustic version of “Be Free” available today across all digital platforms. The video features a split screen with one side showing footage of the band recording the acoustic track in the studio, while the other side features a compilation of videos and photos submitted by fans including footage of meet & greet experiences, live concert clips and fans lip-synching to the song emblazoned with the band’s merch. Self-directed and edited by frontman AJ CHANNER, the music video for “Be Free (Acoustic)” can be found streaming below

“People often ask ‘who are your fans? What type of artist do you want to be?’ and I can never answer that question because honestly I don’t know,” shares CHANNER. “I’ve been to so many places and interacted with so many different people. That has had a profound effect on me. I am 100% sure that I only want to spread a message of inner strength and unity, and this song is that message. I’ve directed quite a few music videos but only one for FFTG. I knew I had to do this one because I wanted to give our fans a real shout out from a real place. I didn’t add any of the bells and whistles. We made them look like home movies because home is where the heart is and FFTG is about that. Having heart. Life is rough. Life is beautiful. There are good times and there are bad times, but no matter what you’re going through just breathe and be free.”

Channer went on to discuss the meaning of “Be Free,” stating: “If I had to pick one song from ‘Soul Revolution’ that fully embodied where my mental state was while writing this record, it would be “Be Free. Why? Because our music is essentially about freedom. Life is a struggle–I know about that struggle, and I know our fans do too. We love our fans because they are real people. They love this band because we’re real people. I’m honest and not afraid to talk about that everyday bullsh*t. I know, and they know, what it is to have your back pushed against the wall. No matter what you’re up against, sometimes you gotta let it go and just be free.”

SOUL REVOLUTION’s songs explore themes of self-realization and discovery, unifying amidst personal revolution, motherhood, and resilience. Having officially surpassed 100 million streams on their Spotify catalog, the album—produced, engineered and mixed by Erik Ron (Godsmack, Motionless In White, Panic! At The Disco)—masterfully blends feelings of inspiration and aggression with the feeling of soul-searching. These songs are further elaborated with SOUL REVOLUTION: ACOUSTIC VIBESgiving a more intimate look at the band’s creative process and message of unity.

SOUL REVOLUTION: ACOUSTIC VIBES Track Listing:

1. Soul Revolution (Acoustic)

2. Thousand Lifetimes (Acoustic)

3. World So Cold (Acoustic)

4. Be Free (Acoustic)

NYC Modern Rockers TEMPT Reveal Infectious New Single/Music Video “Roses”

NYC-based modern rock quartet TEMPT’s latest single “Roses”—out digitally today, May 19 via Better Noise Music—is a genuine celebration of the human spirit and the power of positive energy captured through its irresistible groove, catchy chorus and a ripping guitar solo. Stream and/or download it now HERE. “Roses” was produced and mixed by Grammy Award-winner Chris Lord-Alge (Harry Styles, Foo Fighters, Muse) who commended TEMPT’s efforts, stating: “Working with TEMPT was a blast. They are the real deal, with a rare combination of musicality, energy, and heart, which truly shines through in this new single. Their passion for their music and their fans is inspiring, and it was a joy to work with them on this project.”

TEMPTZach Allen (lead vocals), Harrison Marcello (lead guitar), Christopher Gooden (bass) and Nicholas Burrows (drums)—showcase their electrifying live performance in the music video for “Roses,” also out today. The video takes viewers on a visual journey reminiscent of a graphic novel, with high-contrast black-and-white silhouettes that explode into vibrant colors. Directed by Emmy-nominated Eric Steinhauser, known for his work on ‘Baileys in Tune: John Mayer and Paul Simon,’ the video captures the song’s concept of embracing people with positive energy and spirit, as social media influencer and choreographer Olivia Alboher playfully and elusively dances around the band, mesmerizing Allen with her vibrant energy. Watch it streaming below.

On the song’s meaning, Marcello says: “It’s a tribute to the people who uplift you and bring out the best in you. It’s about embracing their infectious energy, being drawn in by them, and becoming part of their spirit.”

“I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved with ‘Roses,” shares Allen. “It’s a song that truly reflects who we are as a band—high-energy, infectious and unapologetically rock n’ roll.”

TEMPT have already proven their pedigree headlining clubs across the country as well as appearing as openers for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden and on arena tours and festivals with iconic acts such as Iron Maiden, Shinedown, Alter Bridge and Theory Of A Deadman.

The band even won the praise of Sir Brian May following their recent cover of Queen’s quintessential classic “We Will Rock You,” with proceeds being donated to May’s animal welfare Save Me Trust charity.  Says May: “Thanks TEMPT for rockin’ for wild animals. And for playing a damn good rendition of our ancient tune!!!” TEMPT were also featured on the soundtrack for Better Noise Film’s 2022 horror-thriller The Retaliators with their single Living Dangerous (feat. Dorothy).”

In addition to the release of “Roses,” TEMPT will release two additional new singles over the coming months, giving audiences a taste of what’s to come on their debut album due this summer via Better Noise Music. The band will share further details and upcoming tour plans in the following weeks; stay tuned for more information.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA Reveal New Track “Dark Void”

Eighth Album Due this Fall via Better Noise Music

ASKING ALEXANDRIA today (Friday, May 12) share “Dark Void,” the first preview of music from their as-yet-untitled full-length studio album due this fall via Better Noise Music. Available now digitally HERE, “Dark Void” presents contrasting themes of melancholy and aspiration of day-to-day life in the modern world, while seamlessly blending the band’s anthemic stadium rock sound with a call back to their metalcore beginnings. Watch the music video for “Dark Void” streaming below:

“With the world seemingly getting darker and darker, it’s easy to see why so many of us struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness,” relays guitarist BEN BRUCE. “This song is about fighting those demons that live in your head and trying your hardest to be your own savior. Finding that inner strength to pull yourself out of the darkness.”

“This theme is explored throughout the entirety of our upcoming album. We all have our own struggles and hurdles. We are all on our own journeys that present unique challenges and difficulties, but we all have our own inner strength to fall back on. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that there can be comfort in knowing that we aren’t alone. We all feel a little down from time to time. We all feel a little lost from time to time, but somehow, in some way, we are all in this together and hopefully our new album can help people through some of their toughest times.”

FROM ASHES TO NEW Deliver Heavy Rock Anthem “NIGHTMARE”

FROM ASHES TO NEW have delivered an intense and captivating new single “Nightmare,” taken from their upcoming as-yet-titled fourth album due this summer via Better Noise Music. “Nightmare masterfully showcases dual vocalists Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case expertise in contrasting heavy rock anthemic choruses with nu-metal/rap rock verses. ”Nightmare” takes listeners through the emotions of being betrayed and the nightmares that result which are presented in the track’s accompanying apocalyptic-themed music video directed by Josiahx (Distrubed, Miss May I).

“Betrayal by someone we trust happens to the best of us,” says CASE. “We befriend someone, let them in, build a connection and then all of a sudden they turn into someone unrecognizable. Someone you once trusted and cared for so deeply is now a backstabbing enemy. In a heartbeat, the person you once thought you knew is now gone. There aren’t many things in life that cut quite as deep as betrayal. Erasing that person from your life and moving forward is the only way to wake up from the nightmare.”

Stream “Nightmare” on all digital platforms HERE.

FROM ASHES TO NEW Release Electrifying Rock Cover of Mariah Carey’s Holiday Hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You”

Top 10-charting active rock outfit FROM ASHES TO NEW turn Mariah Carey’s iconic holiday staple “All I Want For Christmas Is You” into an electrifying rock song that’s guaranteed to amp up this holiday season. FROM ASHES TO NEW have delivered the full version via Better Noise Music across all digital platforms. Stream/download “All I Want For Christmas Is You” here: https://fatn.ffm.to/aiwfciy.

“We always thought it would be sick to cover a Christmas song, but never did,” shares frontman Matt Brandyberry. “We had some extra studio time and thought this could be the chance. There were so many obvious choices for our style (‘The Grinch,’ ‘Nightmare Before Christmas,’ ‘Carol of the Bells,’ etc.) but we thought it would be so cool to put a dark spin on a light-hearted Christmas classic. It’s begun going viral across TikTok and we can’t wait until the whole world discovers it! If you love this, wait until you hear the original material we’ll be releasing in ‘23!”

FROM ASHES TO NEW are currently on the last leg of their headlining “Until We Break” tour across the U.S. featuring support from The Word Alive, Dragged Under and Dropout Kings. Following tonight’s show (12/7) in Columbia, MO at The Blue Note, the Lancaster, PA-based band will make their way back to their home state with a final stop in Harrisburg, PA at Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center on December 17. The band’s impressive blend of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic and alternative music has caught the attention of critics and fans alike, even landing the band on soundtracks for SnoBabies (2020) and The Retaliators (2022). Their upcoming album, due in 2023 via Better Noise Music, was recorded with longtime collaborators and producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak. They released its first single “Heartache” which depicts the true “phoenix rising from the ashes” story behind the band’s name—FROM ASHES TO NEW.

Alice Cooper and Nikki Sixx talk about Tommy Henriksen’s CROSSBONE SKULLY project

CROSSBONE SKULLY Debut “Evil World Machine” Music Video to Premiere at San Francisco Fan Expo 11/26 and YouTube

“It’s about time someone recognized Crossbone Skully,” says Alice Cooper. “Skully and I go way back. Crossbone Skully has written a galactic masterpiece about one of the most mysterious characters of the cosmos. Is he a villain or a hero? I don’t know. Maybe a little of both. All I know is don’t cross Crossbone Skully. This album rocks every galaxy out there.”

Nikki Sixx says, “I’m thrilled to be involved in the Crossbone Skully project. The music is hard hitting and real as it aligns with an original concept. To be part of this project with this group of legends is inspirational and I know it’s gonna kick ass!”

The two rock legends are talking about the debut album from CROSSBONE SKULLY, due out on Better Noise Music in 2023. It’s an exciting multi-dimensional project that was launched last Friday (November 18) with the album’s first single, the blazing “Evil World Machine,” available to stream and download HERE.

This Saturday (November 26), the video, directed and animated by Riley Donahue (“Saturday Night Live”), will premiere live at the San Francisco Fan Expo, followed by a YouTube premiere at 7:00 PM (ET) HERE. Fans will get their first look at Tommy Henriksen’s carefully crafted character “CROSSBONE SKULLY,” and the character’s world, which inspired its own upcoming graphic novel and animated film, “Thing #1.”

CROSSBONE SKULLY is an avenging superhero, beginning his journey to rescue humanity on “Evil World Machine,” which confronts the evil currency of the world. Legendary producer Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard) emerged from retirement to serve as executive producer on the album which was written by guitarist/bassist Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper’s Band / Member of Hollywood Vampires which includes Johnny Depp) and guitarist/producer Tommy Denander.

Henriksen serves as lead vocalist and bassist on the album. Rounding out the band’s lineup are Denander, keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal), bassist Chris Wyse (Hollywood Vampires, Ace Frehley, the Cult, Ozzy Osbourne), drummer Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires), the late UFO bassist Pete Way, producer/mixer Mike Plotnikoff (AC/DC, Aerosmith) and mixer Olle Romo (Muse, Bryan Adams). For the “Thing #1” animated short film, Henriksen enlisted voiceover talent from Hollywood A-lister and Hollywood Vampires bandmate Johnny Depp (The Sorcerer), and an impressive list of rock royalty including Alice Cooper (The Bringer of Light), Joe Perry (Big Bad Bone Crusher), Nikki Sixx (The Crooked Crow) and Kane Roberts (Alpha Watchman), just to name a few.

“This has been an amazing journey,” says Henriksen, who began the project almost four years ago. “If you had told me back then that I’d be working with the greatest producer who ever lived, I wouldn’t have believed it.”

CROSSBONE SKULLY will be engaging fans with more music from the album, which delivers a powerful message in today’s global climate, inviting people of all backgrounds to coexist and break down oppressive barriers. Additionally, Henriksen’s vision for CROSSBONE SKULLY will continue to unfold, culminating in the release of the band’s debut album in 2023.

‘SPIRITS’ Out Now via Better Noise Music

3x Grammy-nominated rock outfit NOTHING MORE’s latest studio album SPIRITS is out now via Better Noise Music across all platforms. On their new album, SPIRITS, NOTHING MORE—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar, backing vocals), Daniel Oliver (bass)and Ben Anderson (drums), pair unapologetically massive anthems, catchy hooks, and progressive music with introspective, philosophical lyrics and thought-provoking emotionalism. From the Top 5 Active Rock charting lead single “TIRED OF WINNING” and its fan-driven extended version “TIRED OF WINNING / SHIPS IN THE NIGHT”to fist-pounding banger “TURN IT UP LIKE” and their most recent impassioned single “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT LOVE MEANS,SPIRITS documents the impact the past two years of lockdown and turmoil has had on the world capturing society’s desperation, mental health struggles and self-realizations. Inspired by philosophers including Alan Watts and Carl Jung, NOTHING MORE have also launched their own meta-personality test, “SPIRITS TEST,” developed by Hawkins which measures psychometrics to determine your “SPIRIT TYPE”—a personality description that shows your correlating elements, paths and perceptions.

“This album is a mass experiment to see which SPIRIT TYPES connect to particular songs on the record,” collectively shares NOTHING MORE. “Go to spiritstest.com and then listen to our new album.”

In their latest music video for “BEST TIMES,” NOTHING MORE stress the power of living in the moment. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Robyn August (“Party With Me,” Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Set It Off), the video displays the band’s unique mix of rock balladry and the full-on rock that the band is known for. The “BEST TIMES” music video can be seen now via YouTube or streaming below.

“This song is a living reminder to live in the now,” shares Hawkins. “Often the best times of our lives escape us, unrecognized and unappreciated in the moment. It’s not until time passes that our mind reveals what our heart always knew.”

NOTHING MORE are currently on tour alongside Sleep Token and In This Moment throughout October 24 including appearances at some of the country’s top rock festivals (Aftershock Festival, Blue Ridge Rock Festival, Rocklahoma, Inkcarceration and Louder Than Life).
