FROM ASHES TO NEW Apocalyptic Concept Album “Blackout” Out Today via Better Noise Music

Share Lyric Video for “Monster In Me”

FROM ASHES TO NEW continue to break their way into the top of the 21st century rock vanguard with their compelling new album BLACKOUT, out today (July 28), via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. Conceptually, BLACKOUT encapsulates the distress of the pre-apocalyptic world the Lancaster, PA band built with their groundbreaking 2016 debut DAY ONE, while mirroring the angst and unrest the world felt during the 2020 pandemic at which time it was written. Sonically, FROM ASHES TO NEW deliver a fresh spin on the sound that broke them onto the scene with their distinctive blend of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic and alternative music. BLACKOUT was produced by vocalist Matt Brandyberry, alongside longtime collaborators and producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio in PA.It features 12 tracks including their fifth-ever Top 10-charting rock radio single “Hate Me Too,” which peaked at #8 on Mediabase charts, and their latest anthemic single “Nightmare” which is now climbing the charts at Active Rock radio. Stream and/or download BLACKOUT or grab a physical copy on CD, vinyl or cassette at https://fatn.ffm.to/blackoutalbum.

“‘Blackout’ is our prequel to ‘Day One,’” says co-vocalist Matt Brandyberry. “‘Day One’ was a strong representation of the style that made FATN who we are today, and ‘Blackout’ is a step above. The world seems to be headed further and further towards chaos and destruction, so it only felt right to create a piece to paint the picture we are all becoming all too familiar with. Expect much more of this from us in the future!”

“‘Blackout is the album we’ve always wanted to make,” relays co-vocalist Danny Case. “It’s intense, emotional, heavy, and most importantly, it’s us. This album truly represents who we are as a band and its massive sound will prove to be our best record yet. We are so incredibly proud of this album, and we are confident it will quickly become our fans’ favorite From Ashes To New record ever.”

FROM ASHES TO NEW Deliver Heavy Rock Anthem “NIGHTMARE”

FROM ASHES TO NEW have delivered an intense and captivating new single “Nightmare,” taken from their upcoming as-yet-titled fourth album due this summer via Better Noise Music. “Nightmare masterfully showcases dual vocalists Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case expertise in contrasting heavy rock anthemic choruses with nu-metal/rap rock verses. ”Nightmare” takes listeners through the emotions of being betrayed and the nightmares that result which are presented in the track’s accompanying apocalyptic-themed music video directed by Josiahx (Distrubed, Miss May I).

“Betrayal by someone we trust happens to the best of us,” says CASE. “We befriend someone, let them in, build a connection and then all of a sudden they turn into someone unrecognizable. Someone you once trusted and cared for so deeply is now a backstabbing enemy. In a heartbeat, the person you once thought you knew is now gone. There aren’t many things in life that cut quite as deep as betrayal. Erasing that person from your life and moving forward is the only way to wake up from the nightmare.”

Stream “Nightmare” on all digital platforms HERE.

Shinedown Announces The Revolutions Live Tour

Multi-platinum, chart-topping band Shinedown has announced their upcoming The Revolutions Live Tour (co-produced by FPC Live and Live Nation) with support from fellow chart-toppers Three Days Grace and From Ashes to New.

The Revolutions Live Tour starts off in Saginaw, Michigan on April 3, kicking off a 21-date U.S. run of spring shows that will see the record-breaking band bring their hit album Planet Zero to life live from coast to coast. Public on-sale begins this Friday January 27 at 10am local at LiveNation.com. Various presales will be available Tuesday, January 24 through Thursday, January 26. Full tour routing below. For all show/ticketing details please visit www.shinedown.com. The band will also play the Blue Ridge Rock Festival at The Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA this September.

This tour announcement follows last week’s release of the new music video for current rock single “Dead Don’t Die,” a rousing declaration of survival and an anthem about the resilience of the human spirit after trying times, written by guitarist Zach Myers about front man Brent Smith. The cinematic video, filmed in London, was directed by Lewis Cater. Watch below.

The Planet Zero album debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 Chart and the Official UK Albums Chart, and at #1 on six other Billboard charts including Top Album Sales, Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative Albums Charts. Featuring searing and incisive tracks like“Dead Don’t Die”and #1 rock hit “Planet Zero”,as well as uplifting and unifying songs like the soaring pop-rock anthem and #1 rock hit “Daylight” and “A Symptom Of Being Human,” Planet Zero boldly confronts the societal forces that perpetuate divisiveness while offering a restorative path forward through empathy and open conversation – ultimately serving as a reminder that it is our human connections that matter the most. The band’s video for “Daylight,” set to the Amazon Original version of the song, is a love letter to their fans and shows the impact that the song’s message – that you are never alone – had during Shinedown’s sold-out Planet Zero World Tour.

Additionally, Shinedown recently received an iHeartRadio Music Awards nomination for Rock Artist of the Year as well as for Rock Song of the Year for “Planet Zero.”

“We always thought it would be sick to cover a Christmas song, but never did,” shares frontman Matt Brandyberry. “We had some extra studio time and thought this could be the chance. There were so many obvious choices for our style (‘The Grinch,’ ‘Nightmare Before Christmas,’ ‘Carol of the Bells,’ etc.) but we thought it would be so cool to put a dark spin on a light-hearted Christmas classic. It’s begun going viral across TikTok and we can’t wait until the whole world discovers it! If you love this, wait until you hear the original material we’ll be releasing in ‘23!”

FROM ASHES TO NEW are currently on the last leg of their headlining “Until We Break” tour across the U.S. featuring support from The Word Alive, Dragged Under and Dropout Kings.
