INDUCTION Unleashes Video For “Embers”

New Full-Length Born From Fire Out Now On Atomic Fire Records

Progressive power metal unit INDUCTION officially unveils their sophomore full-length, Born From Fire, out TODAY on Atomic Fire Records.

Comments the band’s Tim Kanoa Hansen, “Louder, bigger, better, faster, stronger. Let me welcome you to the new album of INDUCTION. Born From Fire is out now and will take you on a journey through its universe. It’s a statement to the power metal scene that it’s time to wake up from the slumber and to get some fresh air. Born From Fire‘s epos will draw you in with heartfelt stories, live, catchy melodies, and mind-bending arrangements. While not being a concept album, we still have a very specific message to convey, which – bluntly put – is: We are back and stronger than ever. Not only INDUCTION, but the world of music, in general, after the pandemic’s fatal reign.”

To celebrate the release of Born From Fire, INDUCTION today reveals their official video for “Embers,” an energetic, progressive power metal track dedicated to Children Of Bodom’s late frontman Alexi Laiho.

“‘Embers’ is the reflection of his influence on both my songwriting and guitar playing,” notes Kanoa Hansen. “This is my way of paying tribute to one of my heroes. ‘Embers’ doesn’t only reflect Alexi’s writing style put into INDUCTION‘s context, but also lyrically, it’s about the passing of great people and heroes and letting them live on in our memories. ‘Embers’ is also presented together with a music video, which represents the lyrical topic of evanescence and postmortem.”

Born From Fire, which boasts twelve metal anthems in fifty-eight minutes, was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen and is graced by the cover artwork of Peter Sallai (Sabaton, Jinjer, Powerwolf).

Born From Fire is available on CD, 2xLP vinyl, and digitally. Find special order bundles at THIS LOCATION.

Originally founded in 2014, INDUCTION left their first mark with first single, “The Outwitted Consecration,” in 2016 before completely entering the metal world by releasing their eponymous debut album in 2019. Its enormously positive reception even paved them the way to touring across Europe alongside Brazilian power metallers Armored Dawn in November of the same year. It was a notable career start for the quintet that was unfortunately halted by the pandemic leading to a break (at least on the live front) that wasn’t only used by the band to work on their sophomore album but also to renew their power.

INDUCTION New Video And Digital Single, “Queen Of Light” Out Now

Progressive/symphonic power metal quintet INDUCTION is in the process of finishing their second album for release late this year through Atomic Fire Records. Ahead of the album’s details, today, the band presents another preview, in the form of new single/video “Queen Of Light.”

The band comments, “It’s finally here – the new single from INDUCTION! ‘Queen Of Light’ takes you on a melodic journey through the power metal universe, with stories of betrayal, passion, lost love, new beginnings, and the hope for a bright future. It was one of the very early songs written with the outlook for the sophomore album, and it went through many changes and revisions, before it was finally in the state it is now. We are very happy how it turned out and therefore invite you to listen to, enjoy, cherish, and share it to your hearts’ content.”

The official video for “Queen Of Light” was filmed by Suhrreal Film and edited by Ingo Spörl.

In addition, due to differing musical views and visions, INDUCTION recently parted ways with drummer Kian Kiesling. The new man behind the kit for session recordings and live shows is longtime friend Dominik “Dome” Zester.

The band elaborates, “After some thinking back and forth, we decided to go separate ways, so that both he [Kiesling] and INDUCTION can work on their projects with full power! We wish him all the best and will watch his further musical career with excitement! Thank you for everything, Kian, and good luck!”

Kiesling states, “Even though we are going separate ways now, I want to thank INDUCTION for the wonderful time we spent and for the experiences we made together. I encourage all fans to keep listening to their music, and I wish them and their new [session] drummer Dome all the best!”

Adds Dome, “It’s a pleasure to join INDUCTION in terms of touring, music videos, and other plans until the end of the year, perhaps beyond. I’m excited to meet you all and look forward to spending time with the band. It’s gonna be a great time, I’m sure! Thanks to the guys and the team for your trust, let’s rock!”
