Six Gun Sal with Southern rock at it’s finest

“Rebels & Rogues” to be followed with new music soon

Six Gun Sal is a Los Angeles-based southern rock band. They released their second album – “Rebels & Rogues” – this past November 2021, which is available on all streaming formats, including on Spotify where they currently have more than 2100 monthly followers. They’re back in the studio and will be releasing new music soon.

They’re growing in popularity – just last month artist and music platform ReverbNation ranked the band #1 on their local and regional charts, and #10 nationally! Among much praise, The Hollywood 360 said, “It’s no surprise that Six Gun Sal is quickly rising to the top of the industry and you will want to see these guys live!”

They feel at home performing in all types of venues. Past performances have taken place at Whiskey a Go Go (where they’re playing again March 11!), the historic Viper Room, The Rainbow, The Canyon Club, The Rose, The Anthem, and many other venues – attracting crowds from 100 to 2500! They recently returned from their first East Coast tour where they had sold-out performances in Vermont and Washington, DC.

They write and perform their own music, although they released their version of “Hair of the Dog” which is receiving radio air time nationwide. It was released on the new album and produced by famed Platinum producer Timothy Eaton – known for working with Greg Allman, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and .38 Special.

The songs “Brotha Hush,” “That Whistle Blows,” “Mama Said,” and “Walk Away” also appear on the new album. “Mama Said” and “Take Me Home” were produced by Dan Malsch who is well known for working with the band Tantric and many others.

The band received accolades for their past music video “The Life,” which was directed by Rickey Bird Jr. from Hectic Films. The two awards received were for the Best Music Video at the Action on Film Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Best Metal Award at the California Music Video and Film Awards in Hollywood, California.

Band members include: Anthony Appello (Lead Vocals), Dusty Lang (Rhythm guitar), Joey Durant (Drummer), Matt Geinitz (Bassist), Ed Fierro (Lead Guitar), Mia Dunn (Backing Vocals), and Gwendolyn Casella (Backing Vocals).
