FAME on FIRE Drop Music Video For Title Track “Welcome To The Chaos”

With their sophomore album Welcome To The Chaos now available worldwide via Hopeless Records, Florida rockers Fame on Fire are celebrating the release by unveiling their next official single and music video from the album. The title track “Welcome To The Chaos” features Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas on the song and is sure to become a new fan favorite. The video for the song, produced by longtime collaborators Roman Films along with Manuel Soto, creates an exciting visual carnival for the senses that showcases the creativity of the band comprised of Bryan Kuznitz (vocals), Blake Saul (guitarist), Paul Spirou (bass), and Alex Roman (drums). The music video for “Welcome To The Chaos” can be seen below:

Fame on Fire’s newest full-length Welcome To The Chaos is the album that is poised to make a statement from the band. From the electronic creepy carnival ride music of “Intro” to the haunting vocal outro of “Dead or Alive,” the band has created a follow-up to their debut album Levels that is sure to solidify their place as one of the most-exciting new bands in rock. Songs like “Lost In Doubt,” “Robbery,” and “Rotting Away” are all sonically different and display the variety of musical influences the band has. The band has released 3 music videos from the new album: one for the debut single “Plastic Heart” , another for the emotional track “Lost In Doubt” and the recently-released, frenetic music video for the track “Cut Throat” .

Leaving absolutely nothing on the table, Fame on Fire have set out to prove they are more than just a cover band. The band strives to be genre-defying while pushing the boundaries of the relationship between rock, hip hop, and heavy music, by unapologetically being themselves. Showcasing their musical abilities, Bryan Kuznitz (vocals), Blake Saul (guitarist), Paul Spirou (bass), and Alex Roman (drums) self-produced, tracked, and mixed their debut album Levels on their own, in the studio they built, laboring over every lyric, chord, beat, and riff, and painstakingly polishing every track. Holding multiple meanings, Levels is both about going through the motions of life, the various levels, ups and downs that all people can relate to, and about the quest to level-up and continue to progress and move forward. This dichotomy defines a band that is not willing to stand still or be complacent, but one that continuously tries to evolve their sound and craft.

U.S.-based Irish Rock Trio ONOFF Share Parody of Current State of Affairs in “Blah Blah Blah” Video

Sacramento-based Irish alternative rockers ONOFF deliver an assertive yet comedic take on the current power struggle between the general public and corrupt governments with their new single, “Blah Blah Blah,” taken from their upcoming album due in early 2023. Scheduled for release digitally this Friday, July 22, the band have debuted its parody-driven music video today (July 21) as seen streaming below. ONOFF will celebrate the release this Friday with a headlining, all-ages show at Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville, CA where attendees will be able to hear them perform “Blah Blah Blah” live among other previous singles, and the band will give away a signed Gretsch guitar, signed drumheads and more. Tickets are available HERE.

“Music is a never-ending story, one that’s always evolving…but could it really end fascism alone?” asks ONOFF lead singer and guitarist PAULIE.Not likely, but a certain song can unify us, the people. In today’s world the news & media still serve untrue source-less garbage down our throats but through smart phones & tablets. Their power is clear. People are addicted, social media is the drug, and the world is hooked. ‘Blah Blah Blah’ is a stone-cold bitter truth, a three-minute alarm. Listen for yourself, it’s time to WAKE UP!”

Formed in the early 2000’s in Ireland, the three-piece—PAULIE, drummer/backing vocalist STEVIE 10 BEARS and bassist/backing vocalist DAVE—extensively toured across Europe before relocating to Sacramento, CA in 2013. ONOFF have built a dedicated fanbase from performing over 800 gigs including sold-out headlining shows some of the most well-known West Coast venues such as the Whisky A-Go-Go in Los Angeles and both Bottom of The Hill and The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. ONOFF’s 2017 album REBORNmarked their first U.S. release and its single Don’t Look Surprised” was voted the fifth most requested song of 2017 on KRXQ 98 Rock (Sacramento). In April 2020, the band dropped the stand-alone single and music video for “Closer” featuring rapper DuPree The Bay Bully which garnered over 206k streams across all platforms.

CANNIBAL CORPSE continues to tour in support of their critically cherished Violence Unimagined full-length, released last year via Metal Blade Records. Comprising eleven tracks, Violence Unimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogues of the genre. While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to CANNIBAL CORPSE is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining bassist Alex Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett, and vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse, and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four CANNIBAL CORPSE albums (in addition to Violence Unimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process.

Turkuaz surprises fans with new music announcing final albums

The release of the final two Turkuaz albums – Paradiso and Apollyon, both slated for September 9, 2022 — is “bittersweet” for co-founders Dave Brandwein and Taylor Shell, who are torn between two extremes – whether this marks a posthumous homage or a rebirth of the fabled group. In late 2021, while on the road with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew, marking the 40-year anniversary of the Talking Heads’ classic Remain in Light album, Turkuaz suddenly splintered and went their separate ways. The new single, “Strange People (Strange Times),” out now, was written a few years ago, but suddenly seems more appropriate than ever.

“It’s hard to believe at this point that this song was originally written not only before things unfolded with the breakup of the band, but even before the pandemic ever started,” Brandwein states. “I guess it just goes to show what a long stretch of strange times it’s really been.”

Amidst a pandemic-induced shutdown, the dissolution of his marriage, and a stint in rehab, Brandwein moved from Brooklyn, NY, to Los Angeles, California, to pick up the pieces. He seized the opportunity to assess his past accomplishments with Turkuaz and the uncertain future that lay ahead, a chance to clean out his closet and start fresh.

“I was at a point in my life when I was ready for a change,” he says. “The autopilot wasn’t really working anymore, and something inside me was crying out, telling me that. I needed a reinvention.”

Keeping up with the dual aspects of the releases, Paradiso is more synth-driven, digital and modern, starting mostly with beats cooked up by Brandwein and co-producer Rob O’Block, with the rest of Turkuaz’s most recent line-up adding to that, an album that’s both influenced by and goes beyond Talking Heads’ blend of new wave and funk. Apollyon, on the other hand, is more organic, more classic funk-driven, the band playing together in a single room, harkening to such funk pioneers as Parliament-Funkadelic, Sly Stone and James Brown, using old-school sounds like spring reverb and tube amps.

“We’re trying to focus on the legacy we created over the past 10 years, rather than lamenting the break-up,” says Brandwein. “These two albums celebrate that nine-piece band, which was built fan by fan, show by show, festival by festival.”

“I’m so proud of these records, and am glad we get the chance to tie a bow on this 13-year body of work,” Shell continues, “Turkuaz has been my life since Dave and I started the band in our little apartment oh-so-many years ago, and as hard as the disbanding has been, it really does give me so much joy to know that we are putting it down the same way we picked it up… with the creation and release of my favorite recordings I’ve ever been a part of.”

Highlights of the two albums include the appearance of Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew on Apollyon’s “Ophidiophobia,” literally a fear of snakes, with a reptilian Belew guitar solo providing the slither, as well as the only cover song ever recorded for a Turkuaz album in Paradiso’s “In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song),” from David Lynch’s cult classic Eraserhead.

Recorded before any of the past two years’ madness, both Paradiso and Apollyon reflect Brandwein’s love of opposites, but also the overlapping of the two, capturing the space between the binary numbers.

“That duality in Turkuaz makes sense,” he explains. “My goal is for people to see the breadth of what I can do as a musician, to acknowledge where I come from, but I’m also excited about where I’m going. I feel good about this body of work representing what I’ve done so far.”

Brandwein and Shell plan to continue putting out music collaboratively as well as individually. Paradiso and Apollyon will be released on September 9, 2022. “Strange People (Strange Times)” and the B-side, “Feel No Pain,” both from Paradiso, are out now.

Dope have spent the last 25 years delivering their uncompromising message to the masses. Through their six previous studio albums, the band has never pulled punches with their music or their message. The band made a name for themselves around New York City and eventually signed with Epic Records for their debut. The sophomeore album Life spawned the track “Die MF Die” which has become a staple in basic training and garnered the band a dedicated military following from that introduction. The band has also found mainstream success through their inclusion in various movie soundtracks and wrestling integrations specifically with the WWE. At a time when music trends changed, Dope continued to maintain their relevance with their audience through direct fan correspondence. This relationship garners Dope approximately 1.7 million monthly listeners, puts them in the top 1% of all streaming artists and a dedicated following that most people are unaware of to this day. As the band gets ready to launch in to the next 25 years of their career with Blood Money Part Zer0, the world needs the brutal honesty that Edsel and Dope have come to be known for.

AMARANTHE Release Fiery Acoustic Version Of “Adrenaline”

There’s no rest for the wicked! After releasing a beautiful orchestral version of their power ballad “Crystalline”, Swedish metal heroes AMARANTHE turn up the heat and deliver a spicy variation of “Adrenaline”. “Adrenalina” transforms the modern metal anthem into a seductive summer hit featuring new Spanish lyrics and virtuoso acoustic guitar pickings.

AMARANTHE comment on “Adrenalina’:
“At the very tail end of the ‘MANIFEST’ sessions, we were looking into the traditional bonus tracks and wanted to do something special for these ones. ‘Adrenaline’ already had a slightly latin sounding C-part, and after breaking out the classical guitar and a glass of Rioja, the flamenco vibes were filling the studio. The result is ‘Adrenalina’, and it might very well be our own favourite bonus track we have done so far! Enjoy!”

In October and November of 2022, AMARANTHE will be on tour together with BEYOND THE BLACK. Since the tour had to be postponed, both bands can’t wait to hit the road again and spend unforgettable nights with their fans all around Europe! Furthermore, both BUTCHER BABIES and AD INFINITUM will join the tour as special guests.

AMARANTHE have spent the last decade establishing themselves as a formidable, positive, and fervently melodic force for metallic good. From their explosive self-titled debut in 2011 to the more sophisticated, streamlined likes of 2014’s Massive Addictive and its immaculate follow-up Maximalism (2016), AMARANTHE has masterfully blurred the lines between melodic metal, crushing brutality, cinematic sweep, and futuristic sparkle. Led by the endlessly ingenious songwriting of guitarist Olof Mörck and powerhouse vocalist Elize Ryd, their rise to prominence has been a joy to behold.
Widely acclaimed as a dazzling live act, the Swedes reached a new peak of creativity on 2018’s hugely successful Helix: an album that pushed the band’s vision to new heights, breadths, and depths, while showcasing the brilliance of Elize and her co-vocalists, Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson and recent recruit Nils Molin.
Not just a glorious return but a wholesale upgrade for their exuberant sound, Manifest is simply the most daring, dynamic and unforgettable album that AMARANTHE have released to date. The perfect antidote to the nagging anxieties plaguing us all in these troubled times, it’s a Technicolor celebration of metal’s ageless power, blazing with all of life’s colors and chaos, but delivered with utmost artistry and skill.

AMARANTHE is:
Elize Ryd | vocals
Olof Mörck | guitars, keyboards
Johan Andreassen | bass
Morten Løwe Sørensen | drums
Nils Molin | vocals

A preview of upcoming music video ‘Welcome To Heavenly Secret Base’ has also been revealed today, ahead of the EP’s release on CD from 2 September via JPU Records. The first 100 preorders directly from the label’s website will also receive a vinyl sticker of the band.

Among Lonesome_Blue’s many charms is its unique makeup; the all-female band’s guitarist is an icon from Japan’s heavy metal scene, its drummer is a pop rock powerhouse, on bass and lead vocals are two anime and video game voice actresses who have performed in bands at some of Japan’s biggest venues and festivals, and its production team are responsible for one of Japan’s recent international breakouts in metal. In short, Lonesome_Blue is truly the next generation of hybrid rock band, mixing a unique blend of experiences, personalities and subcultures, while continuing to prove that Japan is home to some of the most exciting and powerful all female bands in the world.

First Utterance includes five fierce tracks full of flavour, flooded with ferocious riffs, fist swinging beats, and thunderous symphonic moments, all featuring a fun and friendly edge. EP track ‘Parallel World’ was Lonesome_Blue’s previous thrilling music video and featured violinist Ayasa, who shares a similar history as the band’s members and stars in popular video game franchise BanG Dream!. The track used in today’s preview, ‘Welcome to Heavenly Secret Base’, is currently the theme song to Japanese TV entertainment show Kannai Devil, which has been responsible for introducing many bands and artists in Japan to a wider audience.  The EP also includes English lyrics written by asami (LOVEBITES) and features production from Mao (Light Bringer, LOVEBITES) and Steve Jacobs (Mary’s Blood, LOVEBITES).

As mentioned, Lonesome_Blue has a unique structure; vocalist Maiko Nomura and bassist Yuki Hirose are voice actresses from the Japanese idol video game Tokyo 7th Sisters – they are members of the franchise’s band The QUEEN of PURPLE. They have performed sold out shows at Toyosu Pit and Tokyo Zepp venues, as well as at the legendary Nippon Budokan and massive Makuhari Messe.

Guitarist Narumi has worked with many well-known metal bands in Japan, and upon launching her solo career, her debut EP became Tower Records Shinjuku’s second best-selling CD in Heavy Rock / Heavy Metal, as well as ranking as the best release of the year from users of Japanese Metal Forum.

Drummer MIZUKI crashed into Japan’s pop rock scene after auditioning for spot as the drummer for Mami Kawada’s backing band and going on to perform at one of Asia’s biggest festivals solely for anime songs; Animelo Summer LIVE 2012. She then continued as a session drummer for various artists in the rock and pop world, and is currently one half of Shinku Horou, whose debut single was a theme song to popular anime series Naruto: Shippuden.

Together, Lonesome_Blue is truly the next generation of hybrid rock band.

Alter Bridge have steadily climbed to the forefront of hard rock worldwide. They’ve exceeded all expectations and benchmarks with over a billion streams, millions of units sold, glowing critical acclaim, real estate on the covers of Classic Rock Magazine and Guitar World, and storied sets at Royal Albert Hall, the O2 Arena and Download Festival. On this journey, 2004’s debut LP One Day Remainsbowed in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200 and went gold. In 2007, Blackbird’s title track took flight on the wings of the “Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time,” as voted in Guitarist Magazine, while countless fans etched its lyrics and logo onto their bodies. That album also recently went gold in the United Kingdom. Critical plaudits surrounded the 2013 opus Fortress with “5-out-of-5 stars” from KERRANG!and Total Guitar, as well as Eddie Trunk’s declaration of, “A Top 10 album of the last 10 years.” 2016’s The Last Hero saw them return to the Top 10 on the Top 200. Maintaining this momentum, Walk The Sky made impressions around the globe when it reached #1 on the US Billboard Top Albums, Top 200 Alternative Albums, Top 200 Hard Rock Albums and Top 200 Rock Albums charts, as well as #1 on Canada’s Top Hard Music Albums chart. The album also hit #1 on the Swiss Album charts, landed in the Top 5 on the Canada, UK, Germany, Austria, Scotland and Switzerland charts and closed out the year on Loudwire’s “The 50 Best Rock Albums of 2019.” These musicians have unassumingly done all of this with a quiet dedication to writing meaningful songs and performing unforgettable shows (and they’ve delivered both with almost alarming consistency). Still, the influential quartet—Myles Kennedy [vocals, guitar], Mark Tremonti [guitar, vocals], Brian Marshall [bass], and Scott Phillips [drums]—ascend to yet another level on 2022’s Pawns & Kings[Napalm Records]. It is the culmination of almost two decades together soaked in blood, sweat, tears, and the triumph earned through never giving up. It represents the bandmates’ dedication to one another and their collective devotion to a devout fanbase.
