Marlene Mendoza is a metal singer songwriter from New York City. Marlene Mendoza has taken the path as a metal solo artist after graduating with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Music and touring with several bands as a guitarist. As a continuation to push the envelope even further as a Latina woman in the rock/metal world, she has recently appeared as a Season 20 contestant on ABC’s hit singing competition show “American Idol”. She also has gained over 1 million watch views on YouTube for her reaction videos. While not on tour, Marlene teaches guitar/piano/ukulele/bass .
