Zeistencroix Releases New EP “Cruxi-Fiction” and Video “Ice Queen”

Post-industrial band Zeistencroix releases its new EP, Cruxi-Fiction, via Pavement Entertainment. Cruxi-Fiction follows the band’s debut album, Gen Z, which dropped back in 2019. Zeistencroix recorded Cruxi-Fiction at Stygian Sound, a private studio located at the renowned Sound City Center, and at ES Audio Recording Studios in Burbank, California. With the support of producers Tim Palmer and Alex Crescioni, Zeistencroix unleashes a 5-track EP that cultivates a unique post-industrial sound with both heavy and ethereal cyberpunk vibes.

Vocalist and songwriter Orlando “OD” Draven touches on the ideology of the EP, saying, “Cruxi-Fiction is an ode to nihilism. There’s no control, no love, and no future. We’re trapped in a hellish loop and robbed of our freedom and relationship aspirations. Everyone obeys in trends à la 1984.”

Zeistencroix has also released the lyric video “Ice Queen” in conjunction with Cruxi-Fiction. Icy and snowy visuals pair perfectly with the somber song’s themes of heartbreak.

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Zeistencroix is Orlando “OD” Draven (vocals), Santiago “Santi” Rivillas (drums), and Eddie “AKO” Jackson Zambrano (guitars). The band’s powerful sound is a blend of metal, industrial, progressive, alternative, and goth. Zeistencroix has toured both across the US and internationally.
