Metal Hall Of Fame
S.L.R. Magazine had a seat at the table for last week’s Metal Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony and concert in Southern California. Founded in 2017 the Metal Hall Of Fame is dedicated to recognizing the key players who have made and continue to make great metal music. The Metal Hall Of Fame fills the void left by traditional award events like The Grammys and American Music Awards. Unlike other award shows this one seeks to be accessible, great seats available to the public which is quite cool.
This year’s ceremony inducted a slate of honorees that included Eddie Trunk (That Metal Show, Trunk Nation), Sebastian Bach, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Mick Mars of Motley Crue, Carlos Cavazo of Quiet Riot and others.
A red carpet walk through kicked off the evening followed by the induction ceremony and concerts featuring several notables from the world of metal. What follows is a cool gallery of images from the January 24th event.
