On Friday December 13, 2024 I had the opportunity to go check out a new band at Universal Bar and Grill in North Hollywood, CA. The name of the band is XNK based out of Los Angeles, CA. The rock band includes a group of talented musicians: Riana – keytar, Lina – bass/vocals,
Petre – guitar, John – drums, Ryan – vocals/ guitar. They did a complete set of all original written songs and ended their set with an encore performing a cover of a song by Santana.
XNK really put on an amazing show, and Ryan’s passion definitely showed through all his vocals, he is a true vocal powerhouse as well as a amazingly talented guitarist. Lina who was singing back up, and playing bass brought a huge soulful sound to the band. The rest of the band Riana, Petre, and John brought the band together, their sound altogether was completely amazing.
Riana on the keytar definitely added a unique sound to all the original written songs, and she definitely has a huge passion for performing, and Petre one of the guitarists, and John the drummer added more heat to every single song which brought the entire performance to a whole new level.
This young rock band definitely love performing together, and I know they are going to have a bright future as rockstars, and I can’t wait to watch their journey. Their rock sound is completely unique, and I love the complete smoothness of their unique rock sound.
