Last night, April 29, I had the incredible chance to see Esprit D’Air live in Paris and the experience was unforgettable.

From the first song I heard, I was hooked. Seeing them perform live brought that connection to a whole new level. The energy, emotion, and musicianship they delivered on stage were absolutely breathtaking. Every song felt like a wave crashing over the crowd, and you could feel how much it meant to everyone there.
The concert was thoughtfully structured into two distinct sets, allowing the band to showcase the full range of their sound. The first set featured powerful tracks like “Silver Leaf,” “Lost Horizon,” and “Grudge,” setting an electrifying tone for the evening. After a brief intermission, they returned with an even more intense second set, delivering fan favorites such as “Tsunami,” “Shizuku,” and “Leviathan.” And they even treated us to some unreleased songs from their upcoming album Aeons (out October 24)! The night culminated in an encore with the uplifting “Guiding Light,” leaving the audience in awe.
Everyone was immersed: singing, cheering, and jumping along. There was this amazing sense of unity and everyone was sharing something special together. The band clearly felt it too, their interactions with the crowd were warm and full of gratitude.
And to top it all off, they held a kind of small meet & greet after the show with the fans who stayed behind in the hope of being able to have a talk with them and take a quick picture. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect way to end the night. Getting to exchange a few words and see the band up close added a really personal touch to an already amazing experience. I had the opportunity to talk quickly with Kai, singer & producer, and he has such a sweet personality. Yusuke (Guitar), Takeshi (Bass) and Jan-Vincent Velazco (drums) also had their fair amount of time with their lovely fans.
This definitely won’t be the last time I see Esprit D’Air live. If you ever get the chance… just go. You won’t regret it!
