Rising Alma is a four-piece rock/metal outfit based in Germany but built on four different passports. Since forming in 2021, vocalist-keyboardist Alīse Elme, guitarist Máximo Marset, drummer Jonathan Olsson and bassist Alican Sahin have chased a simple idea: write honest songs that hit hard without losing their melodic core. That search has shaped Cracking the Moment, their first full-length, due 11 July 2025 on Sliptrick Records (digital) with physical editions to follow. Across eleven tracks the band tackles self-doubt, second chances and the sprint of passing time, wrapping each lyric in riffs that breathe and choruses that linger. Most of the record was tracked live in the room, keeping the edges rough enough to feel human. Cracking the Moment isn’t a statement of arrival so much as an invitation to grow alongside a band still hungry to learn—and grateful for every new listener who joins the ride.
