As recently noted in Rolling Stone, “nothing on the Hot 100 sounds even slightly reminiscent of pop-punk,” yet Pierce The Veil have just made their debut onto the chart with their song “So Far So Fake” coming in at #88. The single, which exploded in recent weeks, has surpassed 45 million streams (with the band garnering over 2 Billion total) and is currently #59 on the Top Daily streaming Songs in the US#8 on the Global Viral Chart, and #5 on the US Viral chart. Their monthly listeners have jumped from 5.8 to 8.2 million in the last 3 weeks, underscoring a wave of momentum few rock acts are experiencing in 2025.

The song is off the band’s massively successful album The Jaws of Life and the band’s Vic Fuentes shares: This song was written in 2017, so we’ve had it for a long time. It was one of the only ones that made it from some of the first writing sessions we did before the pandemic. It’s about if you’ve ever been betrayed by somebody you felt was a friend, and the wound never really mended—where even an apology doesn’t feel like it’s enough. It feels like it can never really be resolved. So, it’s a bit angry, a bit sour, and a bit difficult to think about. But I always want to write about things that are affecting my life.

Pierce The Veil’s success is no accident – they’ve built a devoted global fanbase through years of relentless touring, cementing their place as one of rock’s most formidable live acts, proving that the genre can still draw massive crowds and dominate the cultural conversation. The band is in the midst of their massive “I Can’t Hear You Tour,” with the second half of the North American stretch kicking off on October 14, following numerous sell-outs in the first leg in arenas and amphitheaters including Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and 3 nights at LA’s The Kia Forum. To date, the tour has sold over 400,000 tickets with standout markets like Chicago selling 26K, Dallas, Bristol, and Boston each topping 20K tickets, and 19K in Charlotte and Atlanta each. Spanning 60 dates across North America, Europe, and Latin America, with upcoming stops at Austin City Limits on October 11, OVO Arena Wembley in London, and Espaço Unimed in São Paulo, the run marks a bold new milestone for the band. Tickets are on sale now, with all dates listed below.

Earlier this year Pierce The Veil released a deluxe version of the chart-topping album The Jaws of Life. Released in 2023 the LP debuted at #14 on the Billboard Top 200, #2 on the Alternative Chart, and claimed the #1 spot on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. The LP’s lead single “Emergency Contact” became the band’s first #1 single at Alternative Radio. Combined with other standout tracks from The Jaws of Life – “Pass The Nirvana,” “Even When I’m Not with You” and “12 Fractures (feat. Chloe Moriondo)” – the record’s singles have amassed over 140 million streams to date. The Jaws of Life (Deluxe) features two new tracks – the band’s take on Radiohead’s “Karma Police” and “Kiss Me Now.”

With chart-busting singles, a ferocious live reputation, and a fanbase growing by the day, Pierce The Veil are proving they’re not just breaking through — they’re breaking the mold.

Since forming in San Diego in 2006, Pierce The Veil have grown from underground post-hardcore heroes into one of modern rock’s most influential and electrifying bands. Known for their explosive live shows and genre-blurring mix of emo, punk, metal, and pop, the trio – Vic Fuentes, Tony Perry, and Jaime Preciado – have released a string of acclaimed albums, sold millions of records, and earned a fiercely devoted global fanbase. They’ve headlined stages around the world, shared bills with icons like Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, and Rise Against, and racked up over 2 billion streams across their catalog. Now, in the midst of their “I Can’t Hear You Tour” which has garnered sell-outs at, among many others, Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and multiple nights at the Kia Forum, Pierce The Veil are taking their high-energy set to fans across the world, proving nearly two decades in that their momentum shows no signs of slowing.
