Bulgarian symphonic metal band Bendida released their third full-length album, “Elysian Fields”, on October 25, 2025 via Psychosounds Music.

“Elysian Fields” finds Bendida deepening their blend of metal, classical, and folklore elements. The album weaves mythological, fantasy, and science fiction themes, drawing inspiration from ancient legends across Sumerian, Slavic, and Thracian cultures.

Characteristic of Bendida, the arrangements reach beyond typical rock instrumentation: violin, flute, French horn, the baroque viola da gamba, and the Bulgarian tambura enrich the record’s epic sound. Choirs, orchestration and string sections further broaden the band’s unique style.

The album features a guest appearance by Fabio Lione (ex–Rhapsody, Angra). Over the years, Bendida have played alongside acts like Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Kamelot, and Sirenia.

Album cover for Bendida's 'Elysian Fields' featuring a vibrant tree within a crystal-like sphere, surrounded by mystical elements and a dark cosmic background.
