On Friday January 23rd, 2026 I had the opportunity to catch Echo Spine performing at The Grand Theater in Anaheim, CA
They opened for Flotsam and Jetsam at The NAMM Metalfest. Their set list included all original songs they opened with Betrayal, Void, Last time and Crawl which they closed their set with.
They brought absolute pure raw energy to that stage. JR the singer ran out on stage and definitely set the tone. The guitarists Jake and Leche each brought their unique sound and they have a way that definitely draws you in. Thumps on bass guitar always impresses and you can feel his passion in every song. And of course Monks on the drum kit, well he sets his own tone at every show.
The NAMM Metalfest show is definitely my favorite show so far, there was just a different feel to this show. I don’t know how to explain it. These guys work so hard and it completely shows. My favorite song of theirs is Crawl, especially with those killer guitar riffs and bass sound.
