Kicking off August 12 in Maryland Heights, MO, the 25-date, nationwide sprint rolls through bucket-list venues like Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Franklin, Tennessee’s FirstBank Amphitheatre, and more, before concluding with a homecoming close out for the band at Greeneville, South Carolina’s Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
The Long Surrender Tour promises NEEDTOBREATHE “at their best in the live setting, where they take what’s been cultivated in the studio and allow it to erupt on stage” (Rolling Stone). Next Friday, NEEDTOBREATHE will release their tenth studio album, The Long Surrender, via MCA, produced by 9X GRAMMY Award winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell) and recorded at his studio in Savannah, Georgia over the course of two weeks last summer.
Lead singer and lyricist Bear Rinehart began writing songs on his own as a means of catharsis and recalibration, soon unlocking an unprecedented level of self-aware candor in his lyrics.
