It had been a minute since I’ve had the chance to see AYVA and Sydney live. AYVA is a young, superbly talented, unique singer and guitarist, Sydney always brings her passion to the drum kit, and Raze brought those deep cuts on the bass guitar.

The set list included original songs and two covers. My favorite song from Saturday night was “Perfection,” which was released on April 16th, 2026. This song definitely stood out, a soft, airy sound with a deeper chorus that draws you in. A very indie rock sound mixed with a touch of AYVA’S distinct sound. These three young stellar musicians brought absolute pure energy to their show. From the first time I saw AYVA and Sydney, they have grown tremendously.
AYVA opened the set with her original song “I don’t know” and closed out the set with another original song “Blurry”. AYVA still reminds me of a young Courtney Love with a little bit of a young Alanis Morrisette.
I have loved watching AYVA’s and Sydney’s journey, and excited to see what their future will bring.
