On April 18, 2026, The Hollow Crown Tour made its final stop in Los Angeles at the famous music venue, The Vermont Hollywood. The lineup on this night included six powerful groups, but unfortunately, I only got to cover the first three of the six due to other priorities. Despite only seeing the first 3 bands, I’m confident enough to say that all 6 Groups/Artists (rosecoloredworld, Oxymorrons, The Haunt, Guardin, MISSIO, & ThxSoMch) performed extraordinarily well up to their highest peak and potential because of the great explosive performance that I saw from the first 3 bands, full of non-stop adrenaline action and fun: rosecoloredworld, OXYMORRONS, and THE HAUNT.

rosecoloredworld
Based out of Los Angeles, CA in the The Burbank area, rosecoloredworld is a rock band formed by two dynamic artists, Rae the lead vocalist and her co-lead partner in vocals and guitar, Addison Scott. In addition to Rae and Addison, the band consists of bassist Hutton Smith and drummer Luke Caro. Together they are rosecoloredworld.
According to their website, their music has been “described as a safe place where people from all walks of life can feel accepted, seen, and celebrated for being who they are.” I must say that this statement is very true because as the venue started to fill in with fans, my plus one Erik J. and I ran into Rae outside the venue and she immediately recognized Erik and gave him a hug and thanked him for coming. Not knowing me, Rae quickly glanced my way and smiled at me and then said hello and graciously introduced herself. Her positive energy was felt right away by me and her aura illuminated a true feeling of welcome, acceptance, and good vibes. A beautiful and positive energy was felt by me. This positive and beautiful energy also resonated with rosecoloredworld’s great tour photographer, Damon aka @spokenwithoutwords on Instagram, whom I bumped into inside the photo pit just before rcw’s set started. I said to Damon (as I always say to tour photographers whenever I meet them in person), “Just let me know if I’m in your shot and I’ll step aside since you are the tour photographer.” Damon smiled and said to me, “No worries bro. We are all the same. Just do your thing and don’t worry about me or anything.” Truly nice to hear those words from a fellow professional photographer. In a world full of egoists (especially in the world of photography), I sensed no big ego from Damon. Only good vibes. Glad to have shared the space in the photo pit and shot alongside rcw’s tour photographer. Thanks for being awesome, Damon.
From the moment rosecoloredworld stepped onto the stage, fans cheered with love and affection and full of delight and excitement. Fans sang and rocked out hard with the band during the entire set. Rae’s powerful vocals were both sweet and aw and full of emotion. Addison mirrored her powerful vocals along with his great riffs on guitar. Hutton’s high flying jumps and hard head banging never skipped a beat while playing his bass. Same goes with Luke. Beating on his drums hard and full of teen angst, but far from being a teenager with a chip on his shoulder, and always smiling to the crowd. He made drumming look so easy to play. Their high energy modern rock sounds filled with hints of pop-punk, electrified the excitement of the audience from beginning to the end, giving us the taste of what to expect for the entire night, non-stop adrenaline action fun. Overall this band is just pure fun to watch. The music is great. Their energy is wild. And their aura is pure, magical, and authentic. A true space of beauty and acceptance were celebrated on this night by this band. Check out rosecoloredworld for more and follow them on all their socials.

OXYMORRONS
Continuing with what rosecoloredworld had started, OXYMORRONS elevated that same wild and raucous energy on a different level during their set, bringing with them their own style of music and rambunctiousness. This band of wild musicians from Queens, NY gave us an East Coast style of alternative hip/hop rock and rap. Their non-aggressive performance and rebellious approach of their style of music are often filled with powerful messages in their lyrics of hope, love, peace, and acceptance to bring people together as one community, but with a punk rock attitude of pushing the boundaries of “FAFO and GTFO if you don’t like what you hear and see in regards to the truth.” That East Coast mentality of being authentic needs to be heard and seen around the world. Their artistry on stage is unique and full of explosive action and expressive facial expressions by all the members. This explosiveness can often be seen with their constant jumping around and high flying kicks on stage while having fun with their antics. The two main vocalists of the group, Dave B and Kami, were often seen having a duel battle with each other with their mics, like two warriors clashing with their swords drawn up and high and ready to slay one another. These two warriors were also joined by the extraordinary guitarist and vocalist Jafe Paulino and the badass Amani on drums.
At one point during their set, the fans were having so much fun during OXYMORRONS’ performance that a mosh pit was formed as instructed by one of the vocalists, or maybe by both to make one. Security all of a sudden became alert and their eyes were glued in the middle of the floor, making sure that no one gets hurt during the mosh pits. One thing I wished that would’ve and should’ve happened was crowd surfing on this night during their set. Perhaps next time.
After their performance, Dave B and Kami came down from the stage and stepped up onto each of the platforms of the barricade and welcomed and thanked all of their fans once again, often giving them high fives, holding and shaking their hands, hugging them, and even handing out their setlist. One super fan named Jocelyn was one of the lucky ones who received a setlist and got a big hug from one of the vocalists. Two rockers/rappers/punk-rockers/artists giving out good vibes and positive energy and love just like rosecoloreworld. Their mission statement: They want to create. They want to destroy. They want to rebuild. And they want to repeat this process over and over and over again through the power of their music so that humanity gets it right. Talk about an oxymoron mission statement. But the world definitely needs more artists like them. Great show and Good times were had by everyone. FOLLOW OXYMORRONS on all their socials for more.

THE HAUNT
Launched and formed back in 2015, Florida’s own dynamic-duo team, THE HAUNT, once again visited us here in The West Coast as part of The Hollow Crown Tour as the 3rd act of the night. THE HAUNT continues to forge their own path of greatness with their unique sounds of infused industrial-rock, alternative pop/punk/rock, and electronica, blending it all together seamlessly as one unique sound only they can produce. When Robert of 1888 Media, their publicist, reached out to me and S.L.R. MAGAZINE for coverage, I was more than happy to oblige with this request because I get to see and hear this amazing band again LIVE ON STAGE and capture some killer moments of them for their team and for S.L.R. MAGAZINE.
Spearheaded by Maxamillion Haunt, the guitarist/vocalist along with his enigmatic sister, Anastasia Grace Haunt as the lead vocalist, the band is getting notoriety and gaining new fans from all over the country and the world. The team also consists of Joey Castro on drums and Cameron Knopp on bass. They recently released their latest single on Friday, April 24, 2026 called “FAVORITE WAY TO DIE”
On this evening, THE HAUNT captivated the audience with Anastasia’s beautiful and evocative voice combining it with elements of screamo and emo. Dressed fashionably and elegantly in a soft silky light cream colored dress and a black silky shawl wrapped around the top portion of her body, Anastasia sang on point while dancing, jumping, and acting ever so hauntingly on stage like a ghost gliding all over the stage. Her brother Maxamillion provided a layer of texture with his raw vocals to complement his sister’s emotional voice while shredding his axe with pure intensity. Along with the siblings, Joey’s powerful play behind the drums showed us his unique level of greatness by pounding his beats with precision and perfect timing while showcasing his very expressive facial expressions with each beat of the drums. Cameron on bass played superbly and flawlessly. One of my favorite highlights of the night was when Cameron and his bass guitar had the duel battle with Maxamillion and his six string axe. This playfulness between the battle of a bassist and a guitarist is often appreciated by me. Stage lighting was also perfect on their set, complementing the band’s dark and ghostly theme, but also providing enough white lights that showed the expressions of their faces without giving up the mysterious feel. Overall, THE HAUNT’s dedication to hard work and creating original songs while bringing new elements of stage performance and acting for the audience to enjoy, solidified the foundation of letting music fans know that THE HAUNT will never be a boring band to watch LIVE ON STAGE. They will always bring a sense of mystery on stage that is evocative, mischievous, energized and haunting. FOLLOW THE HAUNT on all their socials.
