Acclaimed artist, producer, and songwriter Lolo Zouaï releases Reverie, her third full length album out today via Keep it on the Lolo // Because Music. Across the album – her most vulnerable work to date – she reinvents herself and reconnects, sharing: “this record was made through three years of grief, growth and reflection. I had to lose myself to find myself again.”

Today, Lolo also shares the video for the sultry and high energy album focus track, “Baggy Jeans,” directed by Clam StudiosAnnika White and Carl White. As Lolo Zouaï’ continues her rise to international stardom, she just collaborated with Korean pop star Yves on her recent single “NAIL” and joined Yves at her headline show at Paris’ Le Bataclan to perform the track. The Yves collab follows Lolo’s past musical collaborations with the likes of Blood Orange, Slayyyter, Shygirl, E-40, Amber Mark, and SadBoi and her songwriting credits includes tracks for K-Pop stars NewJeans (“Right Now”) and H.E.R.’s self-titled Grammy-winning album.

Throughout Reverie, production flows smoothly through alternative R&B, hip-hop, pop and Arabic influences, creating dark, sensual, and cinematic textures. Singing equally in both French and English, Lolo’s voice is at the heart of the narrative. Each song is a journey through her wounds, memories, and dreams, where floating melodies and raw emotion intertwine to spark reflection and escapism in the listener.

In addition to “Baggy Jeans,” Reverie features Lolo’s intimate, powerful and vibrant performance of Desert Rose pt 2via A COLORS SHOW which invokes her Algerian roots and family heritage and taps into debates around identity and post-colonial memory, and has over 800k YouTube views to-date; French language collaborations including Coquelicotfeat. French superstar Disiz and the intimate, romantic Les Mots featuring Dinos; Holding Onwhich illustrated the tension between holding on to loss, and the desire to move forward; and lead single 3AM in San Franciscowhich seamlessly bridges her roots as she shifts between English and French, and was praised by The FADER, Rolling Stone and more.
