Following their shocking reunion announcement in 2025, D’ESPAIRSRAY have rapidly reignited global attention. Their one-man performance scheduled for May 4, 2026 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo sold out six months in advance, reaffirming the band’s enduring international fanbase and influence within the visual kei and heavy rock scenes.

Now, with the release of “RAPTURE”, D’ESPAIRSRAY enter a bold new era. Blending crushing riffs, relentless rhythms, and HIZUMI’s signature vocals, the track delivers a powerful statement of rebirth and defiance while staying true to the sound that established D’ESPAIRSRAY as one of the defining names in the international visual kei and heavy music scene.

Formed in Tokyo in 1999, D’ESPAIRSRAY became one of the pioneering Japanese visual kei and heavy rock acts to establish a strong international presence in the 2000s. The band performed extensively across Europe and North America, including appearances at Wacken Open Air and Taste of Chaos 2008, earning acclaim for their intense live performances and distinctive sound.
