“BREED” is one of the most brutal and straightforward releases in the band’s catalog so far. The track leans on a heavy sound, chaotic sections and a dark, mechanical atmosphere. This time, Without Warning’s clean vocal parts are absent – the whole piece is built on aggressive expression. Balance and depth are brought by Chris Harms’ (Lord Of The Lost) recognizable and powerful clean vocals as well as his raw screams, creating a strong contrast and adding dramatic intensity.
The collaboration gives the single “BREED” an international dimension and strengthens the band’s determined direction toward a wider audience. The song explores the primitive roots of humanity, aggression and is part of a larger upcoming album concept. The atmosphere moves along the border between rawness and eroticism, where human instinct and endless desire are strongly present.
“From the very beginning, it was clear to us that we wanted a guest artist on our upcoming debut album. Eventually, we set our sights beyond Finland and approached the German international star Chris Harms, who is part of the well-known band Lord Of The Lost. Chris’s originality, strong charisma, and artistry resonated with us deeply, and he was immediately enthusiastic about the collaboration. We wanted to highlight Chris’s personality both in the song and in the music video. We are extremely grateful to Chris for his trust and support.
