The Linda Lindas have announced an expansive North American headline tour in support of their forthcoming album, GOTTA GET OUT, due August 28 via Reprise/Warner Records. The tour marks the band’s most extensive North American headline run to date, kicking off September 16 in Sacramento and winding through more than 25 cities before concluding November 5 in Tucson. Tickets go on sale today, Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. local time via thelindalindas.com. Artist and venue presales are underway now.
Joining The Linda Lindas throughout the run will be a rotating lineup of acclaimed artists including The Rat Utopia Experiment, VIAL, Deux Visages, Adan Diaz, and Grace Bowers. The newly announced dates follow previously announced performances with Bleachers on the West Coast this September as well as an appearance at Tom Morello’s Power To The People Festival in Columbia, MD.
The tour comes as The Linda Lindas prepare to release GOTTA GET OUT, their highly anticipated third studio album and most ambitious work to date. Previewed by the blistering singles “Burning Out” and “Closer (Feat. Hayley Williams),” the album captures a band embracing collaboration, experimentation, and creative freedom while pushing the boundaries of their unmistakable punk foundation.
Written during sessions in Palm Springs and Long Beach, GOTTA GET OUT finds the four-piece discovering new ways of working together after years of relentless touring and growth. What began as an experiment in writing collectively became a creative breakthrough, with unfinished ideas, spontaneous demos, and shared experimentation evolving into a record that feels simultaneously immediate, expansive, and deeply personal.
Across the album, The Linda Lindas explore themes of change, belonging, frustration, hope, and self-discovery while embracing new textures, influences, and songwriting approaches. The result is their boldest statement yet—an album that documents not only where the band is today, but how they arrived there.
Their latest single, “Closer (Feat. Hayley Williams),” pairs The Linda Lindas with one of their longtime heroes. What began as a bilingual song written by Bela Salazar and Lucia de la Garza evolved into a towering wall of guitars and layered harmonies after Williams joined the band in the studio, helping write the bridge before the group celebrated the session together with a trip to Halloween Horror Nights. The collaboration stands as both a full-circle moment and a testament to the band’s remarkable ascent over the past several years.
Since first forming in Los Angeles in 2018, The Linda Lindas have become one of punk’s defining young voices. From their viral performance of “Racist, Sexist, Boy” at the Los Angeles Public Library to acclaimed albums Growing Up and No Obligation, the quartet has continually balanced fearless social commentary with infectious hooks and an unmistakable sense of joy. As writers, musicians, and performers, they continue to evolve while remaining rooted in the community-minded ethos that first inspired them.

ABOUT THE LINDA LINDAS:
The Linda Lindas first played together as members of a pickup new wave cover band of kids for Girlschool LA in 2018 and then formed their own garage punk group soon after. Sisters Mila de la Garza and Lucia de la Garza, cousin Eloise Wong, and family friend Bela Salazar developed their chops as regulars at all-ages matinees in Chinatown, where they played with original L.A. punks like The Dils, Phranc, and Alley Cats; went on to open for riot grrrl legends Bikini Kill and architect Alice Bag as well as heavyweights like Green Day, Paramore, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and countless others.
In 2021 the group went viral with their LA Public Library performance of their song “Racist, Sexist, Boy” the world has watched these four musicians scream about injustice, sing about growing up and exhibit the kind of altruism that is so meaningful to the punk scene. While their evolution as writers, performers and studio geeks is clear, their ethos remains steadfast. With all four musicians each contributing to the writing and lead-singing, the songs are as varied and dynamic as the girls themselves, however the listener always senses the underpinning of both their shared world-view and their bond.
Their debut album, Growing Up, was released in 2022 to wide critical praise with The New York Times calling it “a combination of wholesome and fierce” and Pitchfork hailing it as “the most heartwarming record of the year.” It’s follow up, 2024’s No Obligation, was equally hailed by critics. Rolling Stone called it “an inspiring example of rock & roll spirit” filled with “bracingly confident songs full of empathetic rage and precocious wisdom.”
