Global music icon and Latin GRAMMY® winner Rauw Alejandro extended his monumental run this morning with two prestigious nominations for the upcoming 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®. Announced live by the Latin Recording Academy®, Alejandro scored nods for COSA NUESTRA: CAPÍTULO 0 collecting nominations for Best Urban Song with his chart-topping hit “Buenos Términos” (alongside René Basabe, Javier Cortes Del Peso, Eduardo Puche, Miguel Puche, Nino K. Segarra & Daniel Silva De Sous) as well as Best Reggaeton Performance with “Contrabando,” (alongside Wisin & Ñengo Flow), solidifying his status as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Latin music.
The recognition comes in the midst of a banner few months for the genre-blending superstar. Earlier this month, Alejandro delivered a historic performance series in New York for Red Bull Chapters, captivating fans across two sold-out nights at the iconic Forest Hills Stadium. The high-energy shows showcased his Signature blend of reggaeton, Latin R&B, and electrifying stagecraft.
Adding to his cross-industry momentum, Rockstar Games officially confirmed this week that Alejandro will join the soundtrack and radio lineup for the heavily anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The inclusion reinforces his massive crossover appeal, bringing his signature sound to millions of gamers worldwide.
Earlier this year, he received recognition on the prestigious TIME100 list of the most influential people of the year.
The 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
