Fail The Enemy are a 3 piece metal band from Keighley West Yorkshire, who’s sound is a blend between modern day anthemic rock/ Metalcore and a new wave 80s synth sound. Touching upon subjects such as mental health, love and loss and the bitter contrast of happiness and sadness, Fail The Enemy strives to create a surreal feeling atmosphere through music that somehow feels familiar but yet brand new at the same time.

The band’s first inception was back in 2015 but only became established on the grass roots music circuit in 2017. Between 2017 and 2019 they worked closely with the band ashestoangels on their debut, self titled EP. On the back of this they did a couple of UK tours/weekenders, one of which was a 9 day tour of the country with ashestoangels. Playing from Newcastle to Plymouth and everywhere in between.

In 2019 after starting to gain traction, they disbanded and 4 years later, in 2023, they reformed and have been developing their sound ever since. They are aiming to create music that an audience can relate to and that encapsulates going through hard times, questioning everything, and trying to find resolve.

Now in 2026, they are releasing brand new music with a new EP set to be released in Autumn.

Drowning Deep is a song of nostalgia, of remembrance, even in the happiest moments there is a blemish, a slight nagging feeling under your rib cage that doesn’t seem to ever let you be content, it’s about remembering times you thought were golden, but you were sinking all the same, but in the end finding a glimmer of hope, and finding the strength to resurface.”
