Thousand Below Unleash New Single and Music Video “Face to Face”

Hailing from San Diego, California, post-hardcore quartet Thousand Below have today unleashed their new single and music video for Face To Face (directed by Amber Paredes). The band has also announced their new signing to Pale Chord Music, home of other outstanding artists including Spiritbox and America’s Got Talent contestant, Harper. Speaking on today’s news, vocalist James Deberg shares:

We’re absolutely thrilled to have signed with Pale Chord and to be putting out music with a great label again. We felt that Face to Face was the perfect track to announce our partnership with PC and to begin Chapter 3 of our band’s journey.

We wanted to come out the gate with something high-energy & in your face, as well as something that was a bit different from what we usually do–while keeping the essence of Thousand Below clear and in focus.

It’s been a long time since we began an album cycle and we’re ecstatic to get the ball rolling.

Be on the lookout for our 3rd album announcement coming very soon, but until then, we hope you all enjoy our new single “Face to Face”.”

Thousand Below’s vulnerable, ambient, yet ultimately hopeful self-examination of loss, life and healing is an enduring theme resonating in the band’s signature sound. The range within their genre is an homage to the band’s intimate experience through the stages of grief. The American quartet– James DeBerg [vocals], Josh Thomas [guitar], Josh Billimoria [Bass], and Max Santoro [drums]– descend into the visceral anger and raw anguish echoing throughout their lyrically-jarring debut album The Love You Let Too Close (Rise Records), followed by the somber instrumentation of an ultimately quieter emotional discourse in their sophomore album Gone In Your Wake (Rise Records).
