On February 1st, Ethereal Post-Rock band ništa will release their debut album, just a little more than a year after their first live performance opening for Temple Fang.
Over the course of the past year the band dedicated a lot of their time to recording and mixing the music and making sure the songs are captured with all the details and atmosphere that is needed to fully appreciate the haunting vocals, luscious wandering melodies and thundering heavy outbursts. The songs incorporate many elements of post-rock, shoegaze, and a hint of stoner- and sludge metal. The album is an intense but rewarding trip into the void where we can let go of what we think should be and embrace what actually is.
Recording, mixing and mastering was handled by their drummer Rik van Wouw and Mike Smeekes at the Ludwig Rhythm Factory.
The band is proud to present the release with a show at ACU in Utrecht on February 1st, together with Oltas and Void Diver.

ništa – biography
Everything is empty.
Everyone is empty.
We are nothing but hollow vessels. There is some sparkling electricity in our bodies which tricks us into thinking we are something, but we are empty, hollow, nothing.
When you try to deny this simple truth, you’ll end up shouting into a cold, dead, empty void.
Thoughts of emptiness define us. We understand that we are empty. When you accept that you are nothing and mean nothing, you are free.
Stop chasing false fulfillment, stop trying to fill what can never be truly filled. Accept it, transcend it, embrace it.
Come join us, step into the void. Let emptiness guide you.
Nothing, hollow, empty. ništa.
