Inokentijs Mārpls is a Latvian band founded in 1985, when Latvia was part of the USSR. The band’s contribution to the development of punk rock in Latvia is one of the most significant. The group is one of the most legendary Latvian underground groups, which is considered the pioneers of heavy punk rock in the former USSR. The band’s contemporary sound is punk rock, rock ‘n’ roll, reggae, new wave, rock music, heavy punk rock, jazz, etc. The group has recorded 7 albums, the last one was released in 2021.
