I had the opportunity to see Sullivan Grace Band perform at The Whisky in Hollywood, CA on December 21st, 2024. This young rock band group is definitely taking Los Angeles, CA by storm, the rock band consists of Sullivan Grace the lead singer, who is a tremendously talented powerhouse singer, who started the band in 2022. She is also a superbly music driven songwriter. Ranga Ringrose moved here from London in 2018, and has been shredding on his guitar since he was 5yrs old. Ranga is A PRS and Ernie Ball endorsed artist. I have only seen him perform twice but both times Ranga completely blows me away with his talent on the guitar. Ethan Shmorak plays drums and you can tell his passion to play shows when he’s on the drums. He has been playing the drums half his life, and performing with Sullivan for a decade. Liam Curedale on bass, been playing for 5 years, started with the violin in first grade, his passion for bass has grown.
Sullivan had two guest musicians performing with them at The Whisky, which included Bruce Ferrante on bass and Sophia Brokke on backing vocals. You can see the pure talent Bruce has a pure passion for the bass, and loves being on stage performing. Sophia did an amazing job on backup vocals and you can tell she loves to sing.
The band did an exceptional performance, and their passion really showed on stage. They performed a set which had some original written songs, and also included a few cover songs. The band has a pure rock sound with a little grunge twist, and Sullivan’s vocals bring each song to a level that sets them apart from other young rock bands. Sullivan is a true performer and kept the audience engaged, while the rest of her band brought their passion and each song to the next level. This is a band I truly can’t wait to see again and again. I am
excited for their future in the Los Angeles music scene. These young musicians truly love their fans, and they have pure hearts of gold.
