I had the opportunity to go see a band called fastride Saturday night December 28, 2024 at Universal Bar and Grill in North Hollywood, Ca. They are a local Los Angeles based hard rock band fronted by guitarist/songwriter Ty Asoudegan. Ty is a very talented guitarist, who
was recognized early on in his musical journey by Slash from Guns N Roses. Jaime Miranda was lead vocalist Saturday night and he always brings his pure energy and heat to each performance, whether he’s on vocals or shredding on the bass. Saturday night he lit the stage with his amazing vocals. I have seen him perform multiple times and I always look forward to his performances. Curt Remington played on bass Saturday night. He  completely tore the stage up as he shredded on the bass, and back up vocals. He truly is passionate about creating music and  bringing it to life on his bass. On drums was Francisco Zamudio who completely tore the drum kit to shreds, and you can really feel
his passion come through when he’s playing.

These rock musicians each have a huge passion for performing, and bringing them on stage together brings a unique sound to their music. Their set included original written songs, with a couple cover songs thrown in. Ty had a guitar solo and completely loved shredding it up for the crowd, which happened to include a local legend named Kurt
Benard who said “this band is bad f*ckin Ass” Their rock sound is completely unique, and I liked how each of the members of the band each have their own sound, but together it brings the sound to a level comparable to bigger musical groups, like Guns N Roses, Van Halen.

This was the first time they played together in a long time, but you definitely couldn’t tell. It sounded like they’ve been playing all year. They were the headliner Saturday night, and when the crowd wanted more they delivered and kept everyone wanting even more. I
can’t wait to see them again in 2025, and hoping they put out more music.
