LIVE AT THE WORLD FAMOUS WHISKY A GO GO, THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, 2025

Despite the fact that the stars above the skies of LA were shrouded by clouds of leftover smoke and smog due to the recent LA fires that had occurred, one star brightly shined its way through on this evening, emanating with love and compassion for her fans and for all Angelinos, who showcased her passion for playing the guitar. And that star on this night is SOPHIE LLOYD, The British Axe Queen Sensation who shredded her skills, performing superbly at The Whisky A Go Go for her U.S. Debut Show.

Fans lined up early at The Whisky A Go Go to see this British Rockstar perform in the heart of Sunset Blvd where famous Rockstars of past and present showcased and still showcasing their stuff. One fan I know named Erik was the first one in line who was there at 4 am. Erik is the number one music supporter whom I met a couple of years ago. A dedicated super fan and supporter of all types of music (but mostly Rock Music), Erik did not surprise his friends and followers as being the first one to be in line on this day.

The show was jam-packed crowded with eager fans who waited patiently for her to get on the stage. But as soon as she got on the stage, the crowd went wild and crazy.

Sophie did not disappoint at all. Her axe shredding skills make her one of the top female guitarists on this planet in today’s generation. Her smile is infectious. Her band complemented her style of playing and were all in-synced from start to finish with Lauren Babic helping out on vocals along with some guest vocalists/artists such as Steel Panther’s Michael Starr, Dead Posey,’s Danyell Souza and British Iranian Alt Pop/Rock artist Izzy T.

Sophie gave so much love to her fans and to LA on this night that she put up one of her Kiesel Guitars for auction in which proceeds go to a great cause that’s dear to her heart, The Pasadena Humane Society, to help the animals who suffered from the recent LA fires.

During one of her mini breaks where she talked to the audience, she mentioned that at one point in her life she was so frightened to play in front of people (including her family members). But now, not only did she conquer that fear, but she has full control and command of her career whenever and wherever she is on stage, including on this evening for her U.S. debut show.

Congratulations to SOPHIE LLOYD for a successful U.S. Show. I’m sure we will see you again in the future here in America.
