When drummer, Musicians Institute of Hollywood Grad, and ER Doctor, Bernhard Tagwerker, contacted me and said that he is currently with a new band, I made sure that I cleared my schedule to see him and his current band, No Wrong Numbers, perform at The World Famous Whisky A Go Go.

I asked Manolo Osario, founder and frontman of No Wrong Numbers, to give me a little background about who they are and this is what he gave me:
“No Wrong Numbers challenges the conventional idea of correctness, both in human existence and in music creation. Led by the Mexican composer Manolo Osorio, the band embraces the notion that there is no singular way to be human, nor a “correct” way to create music. Drawing inspiration from 90’s Alternative Funk Rock, video games, and the vibrant aesthetics of that era, Osorio channels his personal emotions and thoughts into quirky, energetic musical creations.
Originally formed in Xalapa, Veracruz, the band is now thriving within the dynamic music scene of Los Angeles.
No Wrong Numbers garnered national recognition in 2018 by winning the top spot in the VANS Sessions contest in Mexico City, where the esteemed judges included Argentinian producer Camilo Froideval and Theresa Wayman of Warpaint. This victory led to significant performances, including at House of Vans, opening for Molotov at Mexico City’s Sports Palace, and performing at Vive Latino.
Their debut album, Behind the Lenses, features the standout single “Whiskey Jeans,” which gained widespread airplay on Reactor 105.7 FM in Mexico City. The 2022 single “You Stop My Heart”, produced by Camilo Froideval, marked a notable evolution in their sound.
After collaborating with acclaimed Bangladeshi artist Tahsan Khan on “In Your Arms Again,” No Wrong Numbers is now gearing up to release singles from their highly anticipated second album, WRONG.”
