Ultimate Jam Night paid tribute to the music of Ozzy Osbourne in this month’s event at Hollywood’s Whisky A-Go-Go. Following the death of the prince of darkness this past July the planning for this epic celebration went into planning. As usual the Ultimate Jam featured the great selection of regional and national touring talent as curated by Ultimate Jam Night founder Chuck Wright, quite the selection of well-known musical talent.
Joyous Wolf opened the evening with an energetic set of music, then we all got a real treat where the crowd was treated to an actual on-stage wedding of guitarist and RockGodz Hall Of Fame recipient Ira Black to longtime girlfriend and fiancé Jessica Chase, a noted rock publicist, promoter and agent.
Following the wedding ceremony the packed house was given a blistering 21 song dream Ozzy and Black Sabbath setlist over the next 3 – ½ hours. Before the show started a couple of posters from photographer Kevin Estrada were made available for the crowd to sign which will be gifted to Sharon Osbourne — a really cool gesture.
