Once again the all female rock band from Long Beach, CA came to West Hollywood and ignited the fire as the opening act on ULTIMATE JAM NIGHT’S HALLOWEEN EDITION this year. The ladies dressed up in Halloween costumes gave the audience something to howl even louder and prouder on this night, October 28, 2025. The ladies have been here before and are familiar with this stage and have garnered quite a number of followers from the local area . Many Angelenos from all over came to The Whisky A Go Go just to see these young ladies play and rock out hard at the house where Mötley Crüe, Guns & Roses, Van Halen and other famous rock bands from the 70’s and 80’s and 90’s first started their musical journey and career.

Together, they are The Anti-Groupies.
On this night, The Anti-Groupies celebrated the release of their debut album called “PRETTY VICIOUS”. Their music can be described as hard, loud, rebellious with a cause, aggressive but fun, and unapologetic with a touch of glam, glitter and pretty smiles. The album is full of rage and teen angst that adults, young adults, and teens will love because the songs are relatable. All the songs are well composed and arranged and have a ton of catchy guitar riffs, smooth and slick and groovy bass lines, hard pounding drums that will make you head bang hard just like their bassist, Sydney, the hardest head banging Bass player I have ever met and seen in the music world (*Check out and click on the link below to see my previous article and comment in regards to Sydney’s hard head banging style). And let’s not forget the vocals, pure rock and sass with a touch of sweetness. And let’s not forget the lyrics. They are well written and memorable.
The Anti Groupies kicked off the evening by playing one of my favorite songs from their album called “Cigarette Slut.” This song will make you sing and shout and “will make your tongue worthwhile” #iykyk. They continued on to play some more originals from their album:
“Taste of You”
“Ghost of You”
“Not My Problem”
“Envy”
“Regret Me”
“Nice is Not an Invite”
“Read the Room”
And they ended the night with a mash up of two cover songs: “Working Man” by Rush and “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath.
Their performance as usual is a well coordinated balance of chaos and grace, full of non-stop adrenaline action without sacrificing their passion to sing and play their instruments, always on point and precise. Fans of The Anti-Groupies danced, moshed, sang, and cheered for them all night long. The Anti-Groupies did not disappoint once again. This is my 5th time seeing them since 2023. Pure Fun and bedlam were enjoyed by everyone.
With the release of their album “PRETTY VICIOUS”, The Anti Groupies will leave an indelible mark in one’s life once you hear their music and their live performance. They definitely have the potential to be the next “IT” band in a world full of wannabes in the music industry
