Japanese metal force HANABIE. will release a new EP titled HOT TOPIC on Jan. 28, 2026, with a headlining tour of North America to follow in March and April. It’s a chance for the “Harajuku-core” quartet to share its whirlwind rock sound with the world via a collection of songs capturing them at their most heavy, chaotic and catchy to date.

The North American jaunt stands as the band’s most ambitious in the region to date, with 21 shows spread across the United States and Canada. A full list of shows can be seen below. Fans can buy tickets here

This tour news comes after a successful trip through Europe in the fall, following a year that saw HANABIE. appear at festivals around the world and performance at the Vans Warped Tour in the US. Despite a busy 2025, the group still has one more gig at KNOTFEST 2025 in Mexico this week on Dec. 6, 2026.

About HANABIE.

HANABIE. is a Tokyo-based all-girl rock band that has been making waves since 2015, when Yukina (Vocal), Matsuri (Guitar & Vocal), and Hettsu (Bass & Chorus) came together in high school. With the addition of Chika (Drums) in May 2023, the band has evolved into a force to be reckoned with. Don’t be fooled by their cute image – they are a “Harajuku-Core” band with roots in metal, hardcore and Japanese idol pop. With a hard-hitting blend of powerful shouts, heavy riffs and unique Japanese flair, they have captured fans at home and abroad. Their hit single “Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now” has over 10.7 million views on YouTube and 5.1 million views on TikTok.

Within just six months after their major debut in July 2023 under Epic Records Japan, they successfully completed a world tour of 45 performances across 17 countries. They made history in August 2024 as the first Japanese all-woman band to perform on the main stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago. They have just wrapped up their headline Europe Tour and will be performing for the first time in Mexico at Slipknot’s Knotfest in December 2025. They are also planning a North American tour starting in March 2026.
