As part of her European tour, HYOLYN delivered a show that felt both intimate and explosive, welcoming the audience into her “hotel.” From the moment the first notes echoed through the darkness, the atmosphere in the venue grew electric as dim lights slowly began to glow. Accompanied by her two dancers, HYOLYN delivered an immersive experience shaped by her vision, presence, and powerful vocals.
Before she even stepped onto the stage, a short VCR (visual introduction) played, drawing the audience into her carefully imagined universe. When HYOLYN finally appeared, opening the show with her comeback track “Shotty,” the energy instantly spiked. Her vocals, sharp choreography, and confident stage aura filled the room, proving without a doubt that she is a remarkable live performer. The crowd responded with unrestrained enthusiasm, feeding off her intensity and precision.
Between her original songs such as “You & I,” “SEE SEA,” and “BAE,” HYOLYN also revisited her time with SISTAR. Fans were thrilled to hear the iconic tracks “Touch My Body” and “SHAKE IT.” The setlist also included her cover of ARTMS’ “So What,” first performed during Queendom 2 in 2022, adding a special touch to the evening.
Throughout the night, the setlist unfolded like a journey through different facets of her artistry. High-energy dance tracks, cabaret-inspired moments, slower emotional songs, and heartfelt ballads blended seamlessly, allowing her voice to take center stage and shine even brighter. These quieter sections created a striking contrast, highlighting her versatility and reminding the audience of her vocal depth and control.
HYOLYN’s connection with the crowd could be felt across the entire venue. Between songs, she spoke openly, sharing her gratitude and reflecting on themes such as self-confidence, vulnerability, and personal growth. Switching naturally between English, Korean, and even a few words of French, these moments of sincerity made the performance feel deeply human and personal, strengthening the bond between artist and audience. This emotional connection was especially strong during one of the VCR segments she titled “To Loved One,” which concluded with the message “to all the lonely hearts.”
One of the highlights of the evening was the presence of dancers selected through a special audition process on social media, giving some of her fans and local performers the chance to share the stage with her. Their chemistry with HYOLYN and the dynamic choreography of the “Shotty” dance challenge added freshness and excitement to the show, earning loud applause and cheers from the crowd.
As the concert came to an end, the atmosphere was filled with both exhilaration and warmth. HYOLYN took the time to thank her fans and her team, clearly moved by the reception she received in Paris. The final applause echoed into the night as she left the stage, closing a performance marked by intensity, emotion, and artistic ambition. HYOLYN delivered a concert that will leave a lasting impression and made her French audience eager for her return.
