THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!

Written by Stephen Moss / New Rock City
New Rock City, the New Jersey based International Music Festival of pop punk, punk, alt rock and nu metal, is bringing the festival to home soil for the first time on Sunday, March 1st 2026 to celebrate its fifth anniversary. …And the Brits are coming too! After four successful years of the festivals in the UK, New Rock City has secured backing from Sonar Presents, the UK music discovery platform for emerging artists. Sonar Presents and New Rock City will collaborate across the Atlantic, bringing bands together from worldwide. UK pop punk band, Chasing The Fall, From England, are one of the many bands on the line-up for the event at Crossroads on March 1st. They are on a mission to prove that this genre was never “just a phase” and already have airtime on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing.
The gig will bring the legacy of the UK punk and rock scene in this one-night showcase, spotlighting British artists in tandem with the raw energy of the US pop punk scene and the energy of Puerto Rican pop punks, Hoping Forever joining the bill. The venue is the legendary Crossroads, which has been a significant cultural music hotspot for nearly three decades, hosting the likes of Gaslight Anthem, Thursday and Frank Turner, and more!
New Rock City: The Brits Are Coming is about the UK and USA music scenes joining forces to shine a spotlight on independent artists from across the world. New Rock City Founder, Stephen Moss said “I founded this International Festival in 2022 and it is entirely independent and self-funded, a true grassroots movement. The goal was to create a worldwide platform for bands to access new audiences regardless of their streaming numbers. We will be back in the UK in July but it feels wonderful to be able to bring the festival home to Jersey for the very first time, bringing UK music industry support with us thanks to Sonar Presents.”
