LA rockers Shiver have been on the SoCal music scene for the last 7+ years and during that time have released an assortment of EP’s & LP’s. For their latest release “Raised In The Wild”  they did their release party at the popular rock group The Last Call in Tarzana.

This talented group of musicians has a sound that was familiar to my head as I hear a sound reminiscent of early 80’s bands such as Quiet Riot. Frontman Justin even has the classic look and moves of someone who we could’ve seen in the 80’s Sunset Strip. Unusual in the makeup of the band was a lack of a bass player for the live show, instead having two guitarists, supplemented quite nicely with the use of a violinist on several songs. Meanwhile you can catch the album on all the usual platforms and right from the opening song “Volume” it’s a toe-tapping experience.
