Nothing More’s Carnal Nature world tour ripped through The Wellmont Theater in New Jersey on Thursday with an electric performance. The tour, consisting of bands Doobie, Archers, Catch Your Breath, Nothing More, started its third leg after a small break. The run will continue until March 19th in Austin, TX. The tour celebrates Nothing More’s album, CARNAL, that had a deluxe release in spring 2025.

After the first two openers, Doobie and Archers, Catch Your breath took the stage with high energy and emotion. Catch Your Breath has taken the metalcore scene by storm since the release of their song “Dial Tone” in 2022. The band formed in Austin, TX back in 2017 and consists of singer Josh Mowery, guitarist Teddy Herrera, bassist Cianan Madigan, and drummer Onel Hernandez. They have only one studio album, Shame On Me, which also has a deluxe version. The album includes their most popular songs such as Dial Tone and the title track of the album. With the crowd properly engaged and excited, the band left the stage and made way for the headliner of the night.

Nothing More took the stage absolutely captivating the audience right from the start. Their electric energy could be felt through the whole venue as they played. Crowd surfers started like a wave and didn’t stop for the whole set. The bands leas singer, Johnny Hawkins is most famously known for his iconic stage look, which consists of black and an accent color (typically red or gold) body paint and being barefoot on stage. The band is from San Antonio, TX and has been around since 2003 and still has some of the OG members including singer Johnny Hawkins, guitarist Mark Vollelunga, and other members such as bassist Daniel Oliver and drummer Ben Anderson. Nothing More add a unique twist to their set each night by allowing the crowd to vote between Mr. MTV, SPIRITS (audience vote of the night), and a cover of We’re in This Together by Nine Inch Nails.

The band also added a special guest for their song FREEFALL in the form of Archers front man, Nathanael Pulley. The night ended spectacularly with a crowd moment in the form of the band playing on my barricade. The walls of the Wellmont Theater were for sure still vibrating long after the music stopped.
