On March 12th in Belmont park, New York, with The Funeral Portrait, Sleep Theory and I Prevail
The Alienation tour rocked through New York at UBS Arena this past Thursday with a bang. Featuring popular bands The Funeral Portrait, Sleep Theory, I Prevail and the headliner of the show Three Days Grace. The tour has one more week before a hiatus, continuing in late April and throughout the rest of the year.

The Funeral Portrait kicked off the night with their iconic set. From walking out to Frank Sinatra’s “Bang Bang”, to the iconic LED logo lights, the set had everyone dancing and singing along. The band formed in Atlanta, Georgia and consists of Lee Jennings (vocals), Cody Weissings (guitar), Gareth Calk (guitar/keyboard), Robert Weston (bass), and Homer Umbanhower (drums). They recently welcomed Gareth to the lineup due to past founding member Caleb Freihaut leaving. The energy was high as their set concluded with their hit “Suffocate City” in preparation for the next band.

Sleep Theory took the stage next with a bang. The band had amazing energy throughout the set and many crowd interactions from vocalist Cullen Moore, notably wishing a happy birthday to someone who had a sign for her birthday and accepting a letter from someone else in the crowd. The band is from down south as well in Memphis, Tennessee and consists of Cullen Moore (vocals), Daniel Pruitt (guitar), Paolo Vergara (bass), and Ben Pruitt (drums). The band only formed in 2019, but don’t let that fool you. They have taken the scene by storm and have been touring with big names since. With elements of R&B mixed with rock/metal, it was a perfect way to transition into the next band of the evening.

I Prevail took the stage and made their presence known immediately. With pyro making things toasty, and brutal screams from front man Eric Vanlerberghe. The band had some major changes in the past few years with them parting ways with forming clean vocal/ lead singer Brian Burkheiser. The band currently consists of Eric Vanlerberghe (vocal), Steve Menoian (guitar), Dylan Bowman (guitar/vocals), Gabe Helguera (drums), and Jon Eberhard (bass/keyboard). They recently released their latest studio album “Violent Nature” in fall 2025, which is a new direction for the band with a heavier sound. With crowd surfers and moshers all warmed up, the crowd was ready for the star of the night.

When Three Days Grace took the stage, emotions were high for many reasons. Between the screen in the background saying “Here we f**king go” (a nod to the opening song, Dominate, to it being a lot of fans first time seeing lead singer Adam Gontier with the band. The world tour celebrates the bands album Alienation which released in 2025, which is not only the first record that features Adam since 2024, but also has other vocalist Matt Walst. The two’s voices rang through UBS arena in harmony, complimenting each other very well. The band played a range of hits from their most recent work, to their most popular, and more. The band consists of Adam Gontier (vocals), Matt Walst (vocals), Neil Sanderson (drums), Brad Walst (bass), and Barry Stock (guitar). Adam and Matt also play guitar sometimes too. The band truly made the night everyone in the stadium won’t forget.
