The time has finally come. Nagoya heavyweights lynch. have released CLIMAX across the world today, 1 July. This digital release will be followed by an international CD edition from 17 July via JPU Records.
Formed in Nagoya in 2004, lynch. have spent more than two decades establishing themselves as one of Japan’s leading heavy rock bands. Following a temporary hiatus in 2021, the band returned in 2022 with their first performance at the legendary Nippon Budokan before celebrating their 20th anniversary through the ambitious XX ANNIVERSARY PROJECT, which saw them revisit and re-record key releases from their independent era. Now, with their first original studio album in more than three years, lynch. turn their attention firmly towards the future with CLIMAX.

Bassist Akinori comments, “[CLIMAX] showcases all the different sides of lynch., with many forms of heaviness and power that are uniquely ours. It’s not just heavy or fast, it’s packed with everything that makes lynch. what it is.”
For international fans, CLIMAX marks another milestone as the first physical lynch. release through JPU Records. Two editions are available to pre-order from today: the international CD edition includes a 20-page booklet with Japanese lyrics and images, as well as a bonus booklet containing English translations and romaji transliterations for all songs. The CD + VoD edition includes all that, plus video-on-demand content featuring the music video for “ICE” alongside a subtitled 30-minute behind-the-scenes documentarychronicling the music video’s production.
CLIMAX is available to download, stream and to pre-order on CD today. The music video for ‘ICE‘, the album’s lead track, is also out now.
