“Only Way Out” is a high energy metal song with soaring female vocals, driving guitar riffs, and fierce drumming. When asked about the song’s meaning, Brideau says, “Sometimes the only way out of the darkness is through it. This song was written during a dark time where I realized the only way to get out of the situation I was in was to move forward.”
The single “Only Way Out” will be featured on Dystopica’s upcoming EP, The Worst In Me. This EP promises to showcase the heavy and melodic side of metal, channeling the essence of legends like Judas Priest blended with modern metal like Jinjer and Trivium with big choruses, powerful vocals, driving riffs, guitar solos, and more. It depicts facing the worst in oneself through 6 distinct tracks.
The track listing for The Worst of Me is as follows:
- Only Way Out
- The Worst In Me
