On Sunday, August 23rd, the House of Blues Anaheim hosted a packed night of heavy music as Hatebreed brought their Summer Slaughter Tour Part 2 to Southern California. The lineup featured an impressive mix of hardcore, death metal, and extreme music, with Creeping Death, Torture, Gates to Hell, Xibalba, Incantation, and Terror joining Hatebreed for a nonstop night of heavy performances.

From early in the show, the crowd was ready to move. Creeping Death was one of the bands that really helped kick the energy into gear. Their performance got the audience going early and helped establish the tone for the rest of the night. Gates to Hell and Xibalba also played a major role in building the atmosphere, with their sets bringing more movement and intensity to the floor. While every band brought something heavy to the stage, the crowd continued to stay active throughout the night.
The variety of the lineup was one of the strengths of the tour. Fans got a mix of different sounds while still getting the aggressive energy expected from a Summer Slaughter show. Torture and Incantation delivered heavy sets that kept the room loud and engaged, while the hardcore bands brought a different level of crowd interaction and pit activity.
As the night continued, Terror took the energy to another level. Their set felt like the moment the entire room fully erupted. Crowd surfers were coming over the barricade nonstop, keeping security extremely busy throughout the performance. The security team definitely had their work cut out for them as fans continued to make their way toward the front.
By the time Hatebreed hit the stage, the crowd was completely ready. The final two performances of the night, Terror and Hatebreed, brought the biggest energy of the entire show. Hatebreed’s stage presence was intense and energetic, matching the reaction coming from the audience. The floor was constantly moving, the pit stayed active, and crowd surfers continued throughout the night. Security once again had to stay on top of everything happening at the barricade.
The sound inside the House of Blues was ground-shaking, especially during the heavier moments of the final sets. Between the volume, the movement from the audience, and the nonstop energy coming from the stage, the entire room felt fully involved in the show.
Overall, Hatebreed’s Summer Slaughter Tour Part 2 was a great lineup and a must-see for fans of hardcore and heavy music. Every band contributed to the night’s intensity, while Terror and Hatebreed closed things out with unforgettable energy. If you’re looking for a concert where you can get in the pit, crowd surf, and completely rage with other fans, this was definitely the kind of show to attend.
