After 15 years of silence, the Latvian rock band Detlef returns with new songs and concerts. A new group record is expected at the end of 2024. Detlefs or Uldis Dirnēns gained wide recognition in the early 2000s as one of the participants of the Latvian musical reality show “Talent Factory”. The debut album “Tu izliecis par sevi” was released in 2004, in 2007 the second album “Skapī” was released under the name “Detlef Zoo”. In 2008, the English version of the album “If It Makes Us Happy” was recorded in London. Soon after, the band broke up.
