“WE ARE LOVEBITES! AND WE PLAY HEAVY METAL!

You heard it correctly. LOVEBITES “STOOD AND DELIVERED*” an outstanding performance with a SOLD OUT show in Los Angeles (*Stand and Deliver is the name of one of their songs). LOVEBITES play HEAVY METAL. Not just any kind of heavy metal but it’s also POWER/SPEED METAL but has this touch of unique class and elegance fueled by an operatic vocals from the lead vocalist and powered by hard and heavy and extreme sounds on the strings and drums that one can only experience listening to heavy metal music
The band comes to us with a twist that you would never expect. Five beautiful, extremely talented, and gracious ladies who all look like Angels from Heaven all dressed in white ever so elegantly rocking out hard and fast with a ton of fury behind their music.
LOVEBITES came to us here in The States from Japan and had their first ever World Tour and U.S. tour ever called “THE THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE WORLD TOUR 2024” and I was extremely very fortunate to have been part of this historic event where I was the HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHER for the night for the renowned music venue in Los Angeles, THE ECHOPLEX and captured some great moments of their SOLD OUT Los Angeles Show for Team Echoplex and for the members and team of LOVEBITES
I was first introduced to the music of LOVEBITES by another photographer friend of mine, Jonathan Lane, back in the Summer of 2022. To be honest with you, it took me some time for their music to grow on me because I’m not a huge fan of Power/Speed Metal and I love Hard and Heavy Metal music since I grew up in the late 80’s and early 90’s head banging to the music of Metallica, Guns ’n Roses, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Van Halen, etc and other hair metal bands. I didn’t quite know what to think of the sounds of an operatic voice coupled that with fast power heavy metal strings and hard drums. But because of this unique sound, with a line up of five super amazing and talented female artists, it was the EXACT reason that I fell in love with their music because it is extremely different than most heavy metal I listened to. And I love unique artists who think out of the box. And after seeing their music videos and watching and listening to their live shows on YouTube, I GOT IT, FINALLY! I then became a fan of LOVEBITES and their music. But like I said, it took me a minute or two.
Fast forward to the end of 2023, LOVEBITES announced that they were coming to The U.S. I became so excited of that announcement but it quickly faded and then died when I learned that they were only playing a music festival in Atlanta, GA.
I prayed to the music gods that they announce additional dates for their WORLD/U.S. TOUR.
And the music gods listened to my request.
LOVEBITES added more U.S. shows including a Los Angeles show. HALLELUJAH! PRAISE BE TO THE MUSIC GODS!!!
And so here we are with my report and my photographs I shot and submitted to TEAM ECHOPLEX and to the ladies of LOVEBITES.
