With the support from Nasty and Stick To Your Guns at The Gramercy Theatre in New York City on March 25, 2025
Switzerland’s deathcore rising stars Paleface Swiss have embarked on spring 2025 North American tour to support their latest album called Cursed. They are supported by their friends from Nasty and Stick To Your Guns. While initially they did not plan to stop by in New York City, the plans were adjusted and we are so glad it was. So in a little chilly night on Tuesday The Cursed Tour rolled in NYC.

Almost as an old song is for me to mention that I missed the first band because of staple of New York City – traffic. It was really disheartening this time as Paleface Swiss vocalist Zelli mentioned to the crowd that Nasty is the sole reason why Paleface Swiss band was born.
Same kind words were addressed to the second band on the night Stick To Your Guns, as they were one of the first bands to have Paleface Swiss accompanying them on tour.
Stick To Your Guns is American hardcore punk band from California. While the band is around fro two decades for me this was introduction. And they did not disappoint. Their show was everything you could ask from hardcore punk band. Setlist was gravitating towards their latest release: Such Pain, Severed Forever, Nobody, What Choice Did You Give Us?, More Than a Witness, Amber, Invisible Rain, Empty Heads, Keep Planting Flowers, Spineless and Against Them All. Five songs from these come from their freshly released eight studio album Keep Planting Flowers.

Paleface Swiss is relatively new band, formed in 2017 and have released their first album in 2020. Now a three studio albums in their young career they are skyrocketing in the ranks of deathcore and in heavy music in general. Band consists of: Tommy Lee – bass, Yannick Lehmann – guitar, Cassiano “Cassi” Toma – drums and Zelli – vocals.
Their set was totally explosive: Hatred, Suppressing Times, My Blood On Your Hands, Youth Decay, …and with hope you’ll be damned, Nail to the Tooth, The Gallow, Enough?, Don’t You Ever Stop, River of Sorrows, Please End Me, Pain and Love Burns. Mostly reflecting on the current release Cursed.
I can state without any slightest doubt that this was for me one of the best shows that I have witnessed as of late. There is no way you can tell that this band is fairly fresh. They play with such poise and determination as someone who have been performing for decades. Super professional and Zelli’s interaction with crowd comes naturally, nothing is forced.
Few notable moments were Nail To The Tooth, Zelli’s interaction with the crowd made for some special crazy times prior the song and during it, while song Enough? provided some special meaning for the band and their relationship about inclusiveness and of course my hands down favorite Please End Me , with a meaningful message to all fans about not being alone in the time of need, and probably I should mention that it is heavy as f@c% !!!
