With direct support Pistols At Dawn, on June 18th, 2025 at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey
Just last month Buckcherry released their new album called Roar Like Thunder. The band’s eleventh album in their storied career. Born, died and reborn this band has taken rock music from one party to another. Their live performances are always a treat for rock’n’roll fans.

Direct support for the Buckcherry is provided by the up and coming American rock band Pistols At Dawn. They represent a modern touch to rock music. Catchy and melodic songs kept streaming from the stage. Even performing electronic / instrumental / filled with guitar riffs composition that would be more fit to the dance halls. Their choice for a set closing song came to Alanis Morissette cover of Uninvited. While we have covered Pistols At Dawn in our magazine, this was the first time for me to really dig into their music. I am very much impressed by their music and live performance. The band knows how to put up a show and should make their way into the younger fans’ playlists.

This was my second time seeing Buckcherry live. The first time was in New York a few years back. They played something like their greatest hits collection show back then. This time the band was introducing us to their new album Roar Like Thunder by playing five songs from the new release. Same good old Buckcherry with hard hitting party rock’n’roll.
Band was reborn twenty years ago, when the founding fathers Josh Todd and Keith Nelson resurrected the band. While Keith left the band eventually for good and left Todd as the last founding member, another guitar player Stevie D. has been with the band from 2005 and has become face of the Buckcherry along with Todd. Still, seeing the current lineup on the stage you would think they are together for all eternity. Amazing cohesion and delivery. Todd still entertained us with all of his signature dance moves.
The bands set list for the night was great – Roar Like Thunder, Lit Up, So Hott, 54321, Onset, Ridin’, Let It Burn, Set It Free, Say Fuck It, Out of Line, Come On, Gluttony, Sorry, Good Time, Tight Pants, Blackout and Crazy Bitch. While there were a few notable omissions for my liking it was still a bloody good time.
